yep 8N0615123/4 are TT and Golfs are 1J0615 etc.. but the earlier golfs (2000ish) with PR ref: 1ZQ have TT ones - and obviously as the Bora is a golf with a boot the same applies :lol:

GSF i get alot of stuff from for my old bug.. they are generally pretty cheap and don't usually mess any orders up etc

VW and Audi get the parts from the same factory, they shouldn't be any differnce in price, if they are, they are upping the price! .. i know because i work for an official VW dealer who also supplies Audi, Seat and Skoda - all at the same price ;) I'm more than happy to believe VW are theiving bastids. The TT disks have a different part number, but are in fact, the same part, so maybe VW charge a premium for having a 'special' Golf, whereas all TTs use 312mm brakes, so they get sold at a lower price. Wrong. The part numbers are the same. 8N0615301A priced up at £51.17+VAT each (Dealers buy them for £30.19 from the factory) Ofcourse i'm talking about genuine parts, but patern parts i have no doubt will be cheaper. Which fits TT A3/S3 new beetle Bora and Golf :)

saterday the AA charged a guy £67 for a mk4 golf coil, which was the OLD recalled part - 3 years out of date! and the part is only priced up at about £24+VAT ... on that note i wouldn't buy anything off them ;)

I'd assume the sleeve only goes on one way mate?? Although i'm not a mechanic.. i only supply the bits.. i can find out tomorrow for you though... unless someone else knows??

I can get these. For £105+ VAT The reason they went on back order and are so hard to find is because VW were boxing LHD units in RHD boxes .. Although my contact as told me if i have a chassis number for every order then he'll supply them. But it was made clear to me, NO chassis, NO order.
