I heard something once about imported cars from hot climates, there not as undersealed as well as cars made for the english market
dont know if its true, only what i heard once
-
I wouldnt be changing any lines of the car, the car would look exsactely the same, just with a bigger sunroof
-
Why???Obviously you dont like my idea then
I just thought it would be nice in the summer
Like i said, just a wild dream, unlikely it would ever happen
Maybe the rest of you might have something more constructive to say
-
It wouldnt be a t-bar cause it would still have the metal frames around the doors to keep the orginal lines
It would just be like a masive sunroof
-
I dont think ive seen one of those 206s
The car would still look normal with the roof off if you looked at it from the side/front or rear
With all the 1/4 pannel windows, metal door surounds and the whole boot and glass still in place
Just with no top roof pannel
-
I have this thought i would like to share with you
I have this dream about my corrado having a removable roof, not the whole roof and windows, cause i really dont like the look of a full convertable corrado, just the top roof pannel comming off in two parts and fitting in the boot somehow and then being fitted back on when i want, i think it would be cool in the summer, not sure if this would be possible, the surrounding area would have to be strenghthened, there would be quite alot of work in the conversion if it were to be done,
The car would look normal with the roof on with just a seam running from side to side on the roof pannel where it comes off in two parts
Just a wild dream at the moment, I wonder which companys would attempt such a job
What are your thoughts on this?

G60Dan,
I really like that smooth bumper you've got, do you know how much roughly it would cost to get a number plate recess filled?
Is that a smaller number plate you've got on the front?, do u ever get any hassle from the law about it, does it pass an mot like it?

yeah, dont think they come in 4 stud unfortunately

I thought the police in europe were aware that gumball rally took place, if the police found out about it over here they would probably converstate your car and chuck you in a cell for the night
-
ive got all the steering geomertry set up properly now, the camber and toe were way, way out
The car handles a whole lot better now
-
I really dont like imprezas, im not saying there not a good car or anything

i tinted mine red yesterday, turned out very good

7.5x17 look nicer cause they stick out more
-
No, i havent checked with him, dont really wanna bother him about it cause i dont think hes the type of person that would know
I dont think its anything seriuos, its probably the immobiliser cutting it of, therefore it just needs rewiring slightly differently
-
I know its normal, my 16v did it aswell, its just i think it should be staying on longer cause i can hear water bubbling when it goes off
-
When i switch my engine off the fan only stays on for about 10 seconds, and then i can hear bubbling where the engine (i think) is still hot
Is it normal to stay on for such a short time?
I was thinking my immobiliser cuts it off

what do you guys think, do you think the wheel suits and shall i get it it shadow chrome or chrome (my c is met black)
-
I think 18s look good on corrado, but to fit a rim thats 8.5" wide, you'll need your wheel arches extended
You can fit 18/7.5" fims with not much trouble, you need to roll your arch lips and remove the plasic dirt guards from your front arches
I think lots of people are scared of fitting 18s cause there worried they wont fit but there really isnt alot of difference between 17s
Lets say for exsample a 17" wheel with a 215/40/17 tyre (I know the most common width is 205, but lots of peolpe use 215s with no probs) if you compare this with an 18" rim with a 215/35/18 tyre, the radius is only 2mm bigger
