The calibra sideskirts were just a cheaper way of making my car look better, they were only £70 from the breakers, my only quible with them is that they would probably look better with a different front under bumper spoiler
-
the colour code is LC5Z, could be helios blue
-
I keep on meaning to find out the real name of the colour, it is a pearl though, it looks purple when the sun is on it, If I provide the colour code do you think any of you will be able to tell me the colour?
-

Heres a few pics of my pride and joy

The reason why i ask is because i've been looking for a good (black) g60 for a while and i'm expecting to pay around 3k and then spending around a grand on the engine (rebuild, chip, pulley)
So that makes a total of around 4k
So would it be cheaper to supercharge my 16v instead
-
Does anyone know how much it would cost to supercharge a 16v?
And what would be the advantages over a normal g60?
-
where abouts in guildford is it?

How would I go about finding a biger intercooler?
Is it as simple as going down the scrap yard and finding a big one then swaping it
Or is there a bit more to it?
-
No, there quite similar though, and they do look quite good, are they definatly for the corrado? I cant read the website!
Have you any pictures of them on a corrado?
-
found them but there doesnt appear to be any dealers in the uk
-
Cool, where do I get it from?
-
The vw figures say 6.3s
Also some magazines have tested to 6.3s, take a look at this page
-
Indeed... I was wary of this when I saw it posted but you guys seem like a sensible bunch :)I wouldn't expect a Corrado to keep up in a straight line against something like a Calibra Turbo, but the Corrado was never about that... handling is its niche :)
*edit*
Looking at the Specs, I think the Corrado VR6 would stomp a Calibra V6.. but the Calibra Turbo looks a bit crazy with a 0-60 of 6.4 seconds.. I guess we'd have to be talking to the supercharged VR6 owners to even get close :)
And just so you know, I don't want this to turn into an interforum war.. thats definately not the intention of us lot!! :)
The standard 0-60 time on a vr6 is 6.3s

So they have a separate oven then?
-
Does any one know of a kit?
-
A spray booth??
Whats that?
Is it a big oven?
-
Not sure it's available to buy cause it is custom made
It is a modified reiger rs4 bumper

VR6 Rear axel Job done (i would think)fronts!! late g60 with face lift may be but the shafts may be different
I thought all g60s were 4 stud (including late ones), am I wrong?
-
Is it a big job to convert a g60 to take 5 stud wheels?
Is there a hub conversion kit you can buy or something?

You can get coilovers for under £400
They are raceland coilovers and cost £350, availabel from
Apparentely there are mixed fellings towards them though, some good, some bad
If I were you i'd go for some supersport coilovers, i've heard you can get a set for around £420, cant remember where from, but there advertised in pvw mag
do I spend money on a bike or my VR?

I would get your vr6 bored out to 3.1L, then fit a turbo, then fit a nitrous kit
Now that would be a serious machine
