  1. I was at the pod yesterday and saw that car. Smashed my bloody oil sump up, a hidden breeze block in the middle of the field and BANG!

I once saw a turbo nova completly destroy a 3555 spider on the dual carraige way just coming out of the road works and the ferrari floored it to pass him, lol the nova was gone leaving the ponce with no hope in hell of keeping up. Still 300bhp in a tiny little rust bucket, not much can keep up.

  7. Anyone know how hard they are to replace, should i get a mechannic to do it? Ive been told its easy but then another guy told me it takes ages and is very difficult.
  8. I had my car on VAG COM due to poor performance and its showing a fault with the cam position sensor. Does this fault 100% mean it is the sensor that is gone or could it mean that it is something else that is causing the sensor to read wrong. Also VW cant find this part so does anyone know the part number?
  9. you also might want to check out his jetta 2.8 VR6 running on a STOCK engine putting out well over 500hp to the wheels and running low 10's in the 1/4 mile which is completley mental quick a lot faster than a maclaren )

Nice one mate, i think ive just got used to driving slower since all the probs with my car :( I must say on the rare occasion that i feels like its flying how it should i do tend to go a bit loopy(140 down past tower park dual carraige way racing a 5series beemer was my last little decent stint), but latley the car hardly ever runs sweet :( Sounds good about the car fixing session(s), would be great to hear some otheres opinions and see how to fix these things. Have to go for that beer some time mate and say 'ello to ur missus for me :)

  23. When i first bought my car it had a lot of head work done to it, polished ported engine, everything you can think of. It was running about 220bhp, and it was pretty rapid. Now it feels like a snail, i have spent $$$$ trying to sort it out to no avail, went to see ramsy last night and had a go in his motor which is nigh on standard (engine wise ) and mine does feel slower, it just wont accelerate! Ive had problems with backfiring,missing,jerky response and have just had it serviced and now its decided to cut out during driving when at idle. If i open the bonnet and listen at idle, when the revs drop and it is struggling i can hear a loud click/crack noise almost like an electric spark, it comes from around the top left cylinder/air inlet thingy. Also my sparks are usually oily, had stem seals replaced mechanic says could be fooked piston rings and that it will be $$$$$ to repair, im praying that it is just a buggered sensor and not a serious engine problem. Opinions please :cry: Also anyone know where i can get it VAG-COM tested?(for free :) )

  25. ive tried to get the belt dressing from halfords/motorbitz but they dont even know what it is, all i get is a confused look and a swift reply 'never heard of that mate, we dont do that' The belt i mean is the multi ribbed V belt ( i think thats it) Is it expensive to replace the tensioner? ( stoopid question, it is a corrado after all) :(
