  1. yer i think i get all new lines with the kit just not which lines will go were , there are 3 i think in total, i know that 1 of them goes over were one of the supercharger brackets used to be. but dunno what 3 i need to link to. There is the charger with 3 of the oil connections. And i know they go in these places but no sure which one goes were? And that the coplete kit

Hi people. i ordered a BBM Screw compressor supercharger and will be with me in a few days now, Jabba sport say that they take hours to fit and is a big job but Bahn Brenner say its a direct bolt on. My mate that modifys audi's (mainly turbo 1.8T engines) says hes sure we can do it no problem. But im just asking for any tips or guidlines on were the differnt oil feeds go etc... and if possiable any pics if you have on on your 1.8v engine so we can be sure on the fitting? Problem :im sure weve herd this problem befor in the summer the ignition starts to slack in a corrado, but not only 2 years ago i had the barrol and switch done and now the car wont turn over, the car get unimmobilised the dash lights come up, the fuel pump turns on but i turn the key all the way to start the engine over and nothing, maybe once over the space for trying 70 times it fires up but it just sounds like there is nothing goin to the starter motor! Anything i can do to sort it out myself? Ok in the heat its worse! but i found out today when im turning the key to the 2nd position and wriggling the key the engine ticks over and starts? what need replacing? Thanks Again Paul

  5. the charger i bought all rebuilt by vortech coz i needed a whole new crager so i bought it direct from them! about 1000miles ago! and i have just had a new big froint mount cooler and new boost pipes! So the master cylinder! ok i'll get that done as soon as im paid! what sort of things coz this cost? Thanks Paul

Hay people, i got a really strange problem with my brakes! and it will only happen every 2weeks or so! what happens is i will try and brake and the pedal will go all the way to the floor with out hardly any power but if u pump the brake it can work but if you push the brake pedal longer than 2 seconds the pedal goes rite down to the floor again and very little power (kinda dangerus)! but then 20 - 30 mins later the problem stops for a week or two! Can any one advise on this problem? Also im getton some oil running through my intercooler and its a fairly new charger! Is it normal for a thin runing of oil go through the indtercooler and boost pipes from the G-Ladder chargers? Thanks for all your time as always Paul

  8. Hay people, just seeing if anyone can help me, I have a Corrado G60 1991, the engine was rebuilt 8 months ago into a 1.9, reground crank, fast road cam etc.... It was running fast and fine but recently i have been getting a problem, it feels like the car is holding back and today a load of pops and bangs came out the exhast with so much black smoke when i chaged into 3rd and felt like it was about to die but went into the wierd unpowerful feel like the was a gale force wind against it and holding back. Iv changed the plugs, dizzy cap, rotor arm, ignition coil and have uprated leads but still the same problem, iv also had the timing checked and the crank pully and its fine! Can any one help me at all? Thanks Paul
  9. ok i have the Viper 480xv pager car alarm system fitted to my VW Corrado G60. The fuse went for my indercators, so i replaced the fuse and they work perfectly like normal, but when arming, disarming and when the alarm is goin off the indercators arnt doin anything as if the alarm is not connected to the indercators! Can any one help? Thanks Paul
  10. Hay people, just a quick random post. I bought a HKS style BOV to replace my Monza one, mainly coz of the zero boost loss because the HKS valve work on a sucking system rather than pushing the piston. It appeared not to work on my G60, like it didnt go off, even putting a softer spring in, just wondering if anyone has manged to fit on and make it work? Thanks Paul.
  11. bo i didnt fit them coz i think the people in germany adjusted them for righthand drive through that hole although they did send me new adjusters!
  12. Hi people. OK iv just fitted my new in pro angel eye headlights on my corrado G60 but when the turned on they are pointing up hay do far! so i cant see the road! This is with the full beam aswell! is there a way to make the beams point down? Thanks Paul

I have replaced my oil temp sender because i over tightened it and is snapped, So i called up VW to order a new one, and i gave my Reg number ect... so i went to pick it up and it was completly wrong. So we ordered the one i had before by the part number on the broken sender. I have fitted it and im not gettin the correct reading at all, and my oil pressure worning come up for 5 mins evertime i start the car. Is it possiable that the sender is faulty? This is the same as the sender that broke and now the new one is on and not giving correct reading. This is the sender that VW ordered by my Reg Number, but i cant see how it would connect to the wiring loom.
  14. Hay poeple, just had my engine rebuilt, and trying to start the engine. The engine turns well and the fuel is pumping in and all the leads are sparking. The engine still will not start and will not fire up. The ht lead sequence 1 3 4 2 is correct, but does the way the distributor put in block effect the start up???? Please Help Thanks Paul
  15. Just put engine back in and the starter is not ticking over. Any Help???? We have the positive all hooked up from the bat but we think there should be another wire goin to the starter motor.
  16. Hi people. Im just about done puttin my engine back in from a rebuild but i had to take off my distributor, so i have now put it back on but i dont know which HT lead goes were?? and will distributor be set up correct as i have just randomly bolted it back in? Thanks Paul
  17. Hay people. Just had my engine rebuilt by The Engine Shop. Its G60 engine Bored to a 1.9 and in the leaflet with the engine it only says to use NON Synthetic Oil for the running in period but it didnt say what grade. So what do u guys think? Thanks Paul
  18. Hi people. Just need to know were i can buy a BBM RSR oulet kit from ASAP, Jabba and G-Works dont have them in stock till 2 weeks but my engine comes back soon and the Origanal plastic outlet is broken. Any numbers or companys would be very helpful. Im in england. Thanks as always Paul.
  19. hay people. Ok im still quite new to the VW scene so im not sure which engine will be better and faster for my G60. I have 2 different options im lookin at: 1. Boring out the 8v engine to a 1.9 with uprated Cam, Crank, pistons, conrods full rebuild....or.... 2. 16v Conversion. Im more intreeged at the 1.9 big bore becuase im doin a BBM Screw Compressor supercharger upgrade soon and the BBM stage 5 upgrade kit comes with the single cam designed for the BBM charger. Could u guys let me know what u think and that would be great. Thanks Paul :)

  22. Hay people, a few months ago i saw on e-bay a set of BBS rims with this Deep Gold Dish and chrome on the inside. Iv now been sucked in to loving them!!! i want to go for a set of wheels like this does anybody know of any UK sites that sells these amazing rims?? Thanks Paul

    ABS Light

    Hi people, just asking if anyone has had there ABS light come on before, and just stays on. I had this problem for a while now and found out the Relif relay had melted on the fuse box and so i fiddled with the relay and the ABS light would pop off and the electrics would start working, so i bouhgt a new fuse box and relay and then replaced it. All the other electrics are wouking perfect but the ABS light juts keeps coming on from time to time?? Can anyone help please? Thanks Paul

Hi people, i'm gettin my new manifold fitted tomorow and a new cuctom exhaust system made up, i really fancyed a twin exit, a 6x4"(or sumin like that) each side, but the performance garage i'm taking it to said it cant be done becasue of the fuel tank, i was just asking if any1 knows a way around it and any pics if they have it, (i wanted a back box each side) Thanks Paul
