Full cage remember too - I'm getting the geometry and corner-weights set up by Ian Carvell at Retro GTI in Daventry soon, will post up the weights. Went on the weighbridge down the tip and it was hovering around 1000kg, I don't think they're that accurate..

Went to Santa pod Sunday to run the car down the strip to get a benchmark before adding B O O S T Previous best was 14.3@96mph running Toyo R888 track tyres, this time I just had Kumho road tyres... 1st run was 14.2 @100 mph , did a 14.1 @ 99 later and a 14.3 @101... Should be in the 12s with Turbo...

Recently spoke to Graham about the length of these for mk2 Golf fitment, they are too long  I've fitted them, but they really need to be shorter :help: -

You know darn well I don't track my car, so can you please just drop it  Why do you have such an issue with me using Motorsport parts on a road car? No issues with you Kev... Road driving and track use are two VERY different things, and anyone who thinks differently needs to have a word with themselves. Personally I think the lengths some of you guys go to on 'just' a road car is a bit extreme. But that's just me. If we all had the same opinions, it'd be a very very boring world. ref pads - EBC don't list for a VR6 mk3 in Yellow Stuff. Used the mk4 4 mo pads and cut off the wear indicators.

Hi David, fine thanks , hope you're well

First track day of the year on Saturday at Rockingham. Great day with Circuit days/Northloop. Had a minor Golf>tyre stack interface due to cutting a corner maybe a bit too fine. :cuckoo:

Tried my new '288' set up at Rockingham on Saturday using EBC yellows. (DP41330 fitment. mk4 4 motion fitment pads) Thumbs up from me. Nice improvent over the 280s.

mk2 1991 and Corrado 1994 both use M12x1.5 track rod end nut [tre to hub carrier], so must be the same size? Pretty sure the mk2 (with PAS) and Corrado use the same thread track rod. (tie rod) edit -Just had a look and they are both M14.[thread size on tie rod for tre]

How did they fair on track Kev? :?

Don't know, haven't tried :?
