The funny thing is, They thought it would be a nice easy Job.... I've been there everyday, requesting this and that then changing my mind.. They'll be glad to see the bck of me :) But atleast I can keep an eye on day to day progress!!! Picking up my new Lower plastic grill today from steelers. Had to order it in. I see the price has gone up... Now £47.00 all in with VAT. The technical name for the Part is "AIR DIRECTION CONTROL UNTI"

How do you take the rear number plate surround of the car??? Can't figure it out.. don't want to pull it any harder as i'm sure it'll break!!
-
I'd mask it up to the edge, rub it down and spray it yourself... Wouldn't look that bad imo
-
The black ones ok!!! Don't look bad at all... Seen the rims on a Mk2 Golf previously...
-
Taking it of the car.... I hate hearing that!!! How long did it take you to remove and refit???

Looks are deceiving.... Its not that bad really, Was some very slight dents and rust that had to be treated.. Decided to go for the smooth bumper... They've plastic welded the bumper with another peice cut from a damaged bumper, then slight filler to smooth out imperfections... counting down the days to get it back...

See the blue C does look really good.. I think it helps having the eyebrow spoiler too though
-
I'm of mixed opinions... I do like it standard and smoothed. True though the number-plate does spoil the (trying to achieve look) I'll sleep on it I think....

No its being preppd at the moment.. How hard was it to get rid of the lines.... Just got to take into consideration the more work i make them do the more money they'll be asking for!!!!! Just wanted to know what was involved in the front bumper thing...

G60 too???? I would have thought the springs on a VR6 be different to a G60 due to the weights of engines???
