  1. it does share lots of things agreed as per the original scirocco's, but for a new car that is trying to break out of the current mold of mainstream vw's its poor, working on sales to have our new flash car having the same dash as a jetta ,which dont sell for love nor money is poor the fact the golf is being replaced next yr makes this even worse as it will have previous model equipment and not new stuff. The new passat cc does have the new generation steering wheel's from vw so hopefully that will go on new scirocco, and seat wise with the standard passat to poss be going under a facelift again would mean the scirocco is running again on old model equipment. boot space wise may not be top of list, but a corrado is much more practical in terms of carrying things. Price wise is pretty competitive so will be interesting to see how it goes, vw want around 3500 sales between sept and end of yr and around 6000 next yr.
  2. to be honest apart from the front end the rest just doesnt cut it. a. its a hatchback not a proper coupe b. the dashboard & steering wheel is jetta/golf/eos (a 6yr old design) which is lazy imo c.the rear looks like an astra d. its not using any significant engine at moment. c. boot opening space isnt to clever d. uses passat sport seats, nice, but again lazy also got to drive the new 3.6 v6 300bhp engine in the passat cc, goes well enough but abit of a waste of an engine in that car in particular imo and also wasted with a dsg box as only option. the engine dosent look an different to normal r32 lump under bonnet either.
  3. Went upto new Passat CC launch today and also had a new Scirocco up there piccies....
  4. got a set in my vr and imo look good as they are genuine vag bits intended for that type of pedal just in a different car and look like they are meant to be there because of this, to get snug fit you need lhd set for corrados,
  5. this is rather crap, i know our sales manager wont let that happen at all, and especially during the week as andy just said we can get mystery shopped at any moment and if we dont respond within 3 minutes to a customer walking in your marks get automatically halved and we personally get fined on it. And as others have said just from appearance you cant judge someone, i've sold r32's to people who look like they've just got out of bed but thats because they own there own business and dont have to get up early! and andy our sales manager thinks mystery shoppers are worse than paedophiles just to let you know.lol
  6. mine failed only on emmisions the other day but was because it was tested at belwo norm running temps so just took it for a quick blip before re-test and bingo all MOT'd up for another yr.
  7. alot depends on what dealer you use and what techie ends up with your car, i know of at least 3-4 in my place that would be perfectly at home working on a Rado, kind of pot luck. also labour rates can fluctuate ours is £65+vat, which is still going to be higher than a specialist.
  8. wouldnt bother taking dash out just makes job more teadious and long, it takes about 3hrs to it with dash in, and helps a little if you have a spare pair of hands.
  9. you can always pop round mine and have a look at VLA ;-)

  12. tbh they look is very good condition usual reason rado's fail on light its the silver reflective stuff has had its day and the light beam quality is cack, but those look fine and shouldnt be a prob. i'd get it mot'd somewhere decent
  13. plates get used on the road all the time as long as your not driving round like a tool 24/7 then coppers usually dont bother they just think its another foreign car and as the exhaust note is just above oe sound at 2-3k dosent attract unwanted attention when driving around town.
  14. if the item is over age is goes into obselete stock and basically gets written off my dealership and they can sell it on for as much as they want or can get for it. thats why you get alot of genuine unsed vag stuff on ebay where people have bought over age parts from dealers for bugger all and sell it on at profit.
  15. update, now been wound down a touch and also new alloys added, few other minor bits and pieces been added/changed. few piccies....
