Always been a fan of these wheels, Even back in the days of the M2 Golfs.... they look sweet. Your doing well for arch clearence, I'm sure that would change if you got some heavey passengers....lol

The Leningrad Cowboy Yes mate it is a full size spare wheel, one of the bbs that were on the car... Gaz I must admit, i wasn't too sure either but at that price, I wasn't gonna argue.... I'm really pleased with them :) Will get them mintd up as soon as the rest of the car comes to shape. How was the rest of the trip Gaz.. :sleeping:

Took delivery of my wheels early hours this morning (4am!!!!!) Many thanks to Gaz the Geezer for collecting and dropping them off, Sorted bloke and another Credit to the forum... Anyhow quickly put them to see how they'd look!!!! Thought i'd share it with you all... I'm pleased, one step closer to bringing upto scratch. Sorry it's so dirty haven't cleaned it yet, decided not to untill i get the rear sorted.. What do you all think

We knock these British made cars, because of the chavs, but why do they buy them??? This is because they are fast for what they are!!! I had a M3 cab, raced a guy in a calibre 4x4 turbo, and he kept up with me all of the way untill i got over 140mph..... sorry i mean 70mph (Legal limit) The only problem i can see with them is the build quality and handling... I mean even the Astra GTE's were rapid and Escort rs turbo's... Come to think of it VW's arn't that quick really, but they last forever so some compromises are exceptable.

Hang on to it mate... Really, although everything looks glimb at the moment, engines are always readily available and it's not a hard job to do either... Your last option is breaking it rather than trading it in as beleive me you'll be lucky to get £100 for it.... Stick with it mate... there's always light at the end of the tunnel.

I know..... Was just a thought.... Anyone taking a bus with them ?????

I've found a tailgate on ebay exact colour i need, but its miles away from me!!!! :x :roll: Just wondered if anyone could bring it to inters for me... Just a thought 8)

I have a Passat rear hangle on the Passenger side but the drivers side is a passat drivers door with key barrel.... Already on the car when purchased but looks straight forward to me!!!!

Whats it like driving an auto C... I'd find it really wierd!!!! Can only imagine it in a Big car...

Some BMW wheels look the business, and are relatively cheap as chips... always wondered if it is possibel to get spacers/adapetrs???

Oettinger's are nice but i think they have a better appearance on other VW's so i'm going with speedy's

I'm not a lover of white ones although a White Mk2 golf looks really well. I think thats because theres alot of black that breaks it up so looks more stylish. I'm not a lover of them on a corrado.... Don't know why , but hey thats my opinion... each to their own

They're all great infact, with there own characteristics.... I've had all three and think they're all great in their own rights... You need to drive all of them to find out which one suit you best.. all the best mate

Now the oil leak has been rectified.... :D Whats the best thing to use to get the whole engine looking like new... Some one suggested good old fansion'd engine Gunk....

Although the heavens opened and i was soaked through... replaced rocker cover gasket and crankshaft oil seal.... NEVER AGAIN..............................................
