Are you sure you've tighten'd up all the top mounts... This woul cause it to go all over the place!!! Are you measuring each side correctly??? Ones not higher than the other...

Looking at a set of Leather recaro seats for my C' from a MK3 Golf Will they fit and how difficult is it to do ????

If i'm honest never been a fan really of mouting a sub to look neat, because thats all it ever will be (Neat)... I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to sound... Subs have to be measured and placed in a specific dimension made box to get quality sound.. But thats just me!!!!! Each to their own... Looks nice and tucked up tho Good work Mate

Yeh Gaz, well technally it was my cousin, convinced him to buy then sell ???? To be fair its not that bad... Loads of recent engine work which costs him a fortune.. Needed a New battery, starter switch and oil leak which is suspected to be Crankshaft oil seal, Air box side... Cheap and cheerful for what i paid for it so don't really mind... Hopefully oil leak should be done this wk'nd... Then sorted !!!! You had any further Joy on finding another ??

My Cranksfaft oil seal is leaking bad!! Reading through various threads to gen myslef in preparation to have a go myslef.. Whats this DX bolt? Does anyone know what i'll need to order from GSF? Parts wise complete..

Were can i get the bolts from? Do GSF or EuroCarParts sell them? What do i exactly ask for over the counter? Could do with a list of entire parts that i'd need...

The Rest of the car is sweet... Really just that back panel took the impact and the tailgate, but its not that bad when looking at it in person. Wha i am trying to find is a tailgate the same colour, as it would make it hat much easier to spray and keep costs down. I would be greatful if you could get me a price on that rear end panel.. Probably will be changed, no breakers round me have any C's in, they just look at me wierd if ou ask...

If it is the Crankshaft Seal, How hard is this to do.... I have noticed when ever the car is driven and i bring it home, fresh oil apears to be dripping from the front, Not major heavy but it is apparent... AAArrrrrhhhhhhh.....

Well guys just thought i'd post some pics of my project in-hand. Firstly to repair the rear and replace the tailgate.... And the other minor little issues. Hoping to get the front painted too while its in for the rear.... Do you think the rear pannel will pull out? I dont' think its that bad really...

I've just noticed the oil has even reached as far up as the Air intake box tray...

The Guy i purchased it from rekons his mechanic said it was a Crankshaft Seal ???? tbh its not the damper!!! I have a feeling this leak has been there for a while, and the guy just kep topping up the oil when needed. The whole of the leg and all inside the wheel is caked in this gunk... Its all driver side even reaching as far back as fuel filter... The thing is I don't want to take his word for it as so far everything he's told me thats wrong with it has become even bigger.... I was hoping to do this myself, but i don't even know if it is coming from this Crankshaft... The Car did belong to a current forum member....

My Battery was flat and I had no means of charging it :x :x :x Took a closer llok at the battery and noticed it was a Halfords one... Said 3 yrs guarantee on the side :idea: Took it to halfords and played my face saying there batteries were Sh*t... Although i had no proof of purchase and I hadn't a clue where it initially came from, Low and behold they gave me a Barnd Spanking New one.. :lol: :lol: :lol: Try it guys... It worked for me!!! 8)

Trying to find out why theres Oil all over the place, Which is only on the drivers side... Guy i bought the car from convinced me it was a simple fix and should be able to do it myself... "Another person passing on a Corrado that needs more attention that he lets on, just so he gets it off his hands" The work that needs doing is multiplying over nite. :x :x :x We should have a name and shame on here.... :x Anyway i've attached some pics for you all to look at to see if you can possible suggest what needs doing.... (Long shot I know)

I tell you diesels are the way forward... I had an R32 which i thought was the daddy until i have a little play with a Golf AnniversaryPD150... Ok it was chipped to nearly 190bhp... I raced him through 4 round abouts and could not lose him..

Ok guys... After a fellow friend looking at the car, he seems to think the oil is coming from the Crank !!!!! Is this a D.I.Y job for me to attemp to do or shall i book it into a Garage ???? What sort f costs should i expect?
