    G60 Sparkplugs

Hi, I know just about everybody fits Bosche W5dpo plugs to their G60s, but has anybody thought of fitting the NGK equivalent? just wondered cheers Dave.
  2. This is not a slagging off job but may be of some help to those with this type of mounting( has allready been mentioned in a previous thread a few weeks ago thank goodness which is what pointed me to the mounting problem) anyway ive just spent the last two days arguing the toss with the development guy at Milltek exhausts, stating the there is a problem with the De-cat pipe on my car, in as much that the Co-sensor is burried into my heat shield in the tunnel where the exhaust go from front to back so much that the wires have broken off the top of the sensor, now rightly Milltek stood there ground and denied that there is a problem with the de-cat pipe where the sensor goes, BECAUSE its the JMR solid front engine mounting thats 20mm too short and allowing the engine to tilt forward thus causing the co-sensor to come into contact with the tunnel, now new co-sensor needed at £90 and told to either fit a standard front mount or pack it up with a 20mm spacer great i thinks not, check your mountings and co-sensors cheers Dave
  3. Hi Crasher, Its got a full Milltec system on her, standard cast manifold but really big twin down pipes and its just catching the subframe a bit, it was fitted by John Mitchell for the last owner been told there quite rare the large down pipes, thinks ill have to have a word with local garage then if not good idea on stands, where is the best place to buy a vibratecnics fron mount? Cheers Dave
  4. Hi Thinking of replacing all three engine mountings on my G60, Its got a Solid front one. but would really prefer Vibratecnics or something similar i think its one of the dodgy ones front ones that was mentioned the other day, reason im wanting to replace especially the rears is theres a bit of a knock from the exhaust under excelleration, and the lamda wires were broke when i got the car, now fixed, what sort of a job is it difficult or not? what should i look out for? and is it possible to do off axle stands or do you need a garage lift? Thanks Dave
