  1. Hi, I have 1990 Corrado g60 1.8 8v) and recently I took of faulty supercharger and replace with T3 turbo. I ordered 440cc delphi injectors. Now I need chip tuning for my car. However I am living very ruralk area of Turkey so its not possible to printout air/fuel graph for custom chip modification. I try to contact SNS tuning (USA) and they didnt reply any e-mail so far (1 month) even SNS tuning UK too. So I decide to go for Motec, haltech or microtech. Is any body using standalone ECU for G60? Or could you tell me if there is a huge differences between sns chip+Digifan and stand alone ECUs? Thank in advance. Koray
  2. Is anybody confirm if this is Corrado? Thnaks Koray
  3. How about Garret GT2554R turbo? I am thinking to buy this. My car is Corrado G60 8v turbo. However I dont know which turbo on it. But I am not happy with it with stock chip and stock FPR, injectors etc. Not I ordered 440cc 42lb) Delphi brand injectors which are betetrthan Bosch brand I think. And hope SNS stage 5 will make huge difference. The only problem is I get 1.1 bar betwen at 4000-5500 only. So I decide to change my turbo. As I can see the Garrett GT series GT2554R is the best I think. http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobyga ... 1171_3.htm is anybody using this? I hop I will get high boost pressure (1.1 bar) at 3000 RPM. Koray
  4. Go for DEKA batteries. Because It looks the exact same as the Braille battery that is commonly sold by various companies for around $175US. Deka battery is sold nationally for $59US. Here is the interesting article about it: http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2353060 Koray
  5. How about using lightweight dry ODYSSEY battery? PC 925 Specs: 925 cranking amps for 5 seconds 870 cranking amps for 10 seconds 765 cranking amps for 20 seconds Short circuit current over 2400A 28 amp hours 50 minute reserve capacity with 25amp load Female brass terminal w/M6 SS bolt Length 6 15/32" Width 6 7/8" Height 4 7/8" Weighs 23 lbs Odyssey design: 3 year full warranty Rugged Drycell sealed design Military grade Vibration resistant 60% more starting power Deep discharge reserve power 2 year storage life 8-12 year design life Can be mounted in any orientation http://www.odysseybatteries.com/batteries.htm Koray
  6. Hi, I already did Turbo conversation but not satisfied yet. So I decide to change my Turbo to Garrett GT2554R which seems best for the Corrado G60 I think. And also with 440cc Delphi injectors which is better than bosch 440cc because of delphi made by bosch+siemens together. ıs anybody using Garrett GT2554R here? It suppose to be almost no lag and able to give maximum pressure at 3000 RPM I think. Koray Ustuner
  7. Ok, I found it. The original diameter is 3.5mm So if you want to change it with better 4mm quality one , then lenght should be 76.5 cm. The formula is simple. the all you need to do: Lenght=962 / 3.14 x (new tube diameter / 2 ) x (new tube diameter / 2) Koray
  8. For 3.2mm I should use 64 cm 4mm diameter hose or for 3.5 mm I should use 76.5 cm hose. Whch makes 12.5 cm differences. It seems not to important, but on the bentley manual, it says even 10 cm differences very important. Thanks for the answer. Koray Ustuner
  9. In the bentley Manula says that vacuum hose must be exact 1 meter. However the diameter of hose should be important too. I'm not %100 sure but I thing the original vacuum hose diameter 3.2mm Is anybody can confirm this? I replace the vacuum hose yesterday and my new hose has 4mm diameter (0.8 mm bigger than original one I thing). So I should use shorther than 1 meter. The original vacume hose has 804.24 cm3 volume ( 100cm x pi x 1.6 x 1.6). So with my new 4mm vacuum hose the lenght should be 804.24 / (pi x 2 x 2) = 64 cm However I am not sure what is the diameter of original vacuum hose. Help please. Thanks in advance. Koray Ustuner
  10. Hi, I have G60 and I checked the VAG-Com socket which is 2x2. However it seems one of the cables is missing. Could is be like that? Or I will remove the dashboard to find it out where is the missing cabe. Koray Ustuner
