Snap mate.... got a quote from them for around £650 before I started the final major work on my Corrado to make sure I could afford to insure it. They said wouldn't change too much over the following 3 months... until I got the renewal through which was £1109.24! Not too much of a change there then...  The best they could get it down to was £930 so I told 'em where they could shove their quote... I'm now with Flux and paying £780 with all the same benefits I got from HIC and, by the sounds of things, none of their new hassles... 8) I was with Hic last year, when my renewal came though it wasn't as low as I thought it would be. I ended up going to Adrian flux, who buggered me about loads, so I cancelled the policy & went back to Hic who then gave me a much better quote. Imo I do think Hic's customer services are much better - when you actually get though to them!
-
I'd recommend HIC, very good, very helpful. Phone service isn't great, so be prepared to hold for 15/20 minutes

I have a sub. I was pretty chuffed with them. Has made the back sound rather feeble. I'm going to have to do them now!
-
not something I'd be looking forward to doing

The corrado blades aren't a problem. Put them on another car & they work fine. It's the arms that are crap. But thanks for clearing that one up! 2 driver side ones on the way! 8)

Jo from the forum has just fitted Lupo wipers & fitted V6X2 998 405 & V6X2 998 406. Is there any difference in the 2? Is it better to fit 2 the same? nice one cheers
-
What size are they? Time mine were replaced I think!
-
best of luck with it, let me know if you solve the problem
-
As far as I'm aware I have replaced all oil sensors on mine & it still does it every now & then. A quick rev or dip of the clutch & it's gone?? It does do it A LOT less now I have done the one on the side of the head though.

Nice touch 8)

Do the original blades fit the lupo arms? I have 20" blades on my C at the moment & would like to keep that size if possible Also does anyone happen to have the p/n's Cheers

mine are done. I think it looks good with or without personally -
also, I don't suppose anyone knows where to find them, how much, & are mods needed?
