Got it back. The guy said she is still driveable, the parts won't be in till Friday so it's getting done then. It's going to be about £150 I'm happy as larry. I don't like using garages for work on the car when I have to leave it there, but I feel absoultly fine about leaving at this place. Seemed like really good place & I have only ever herd good things about it. :D Dan

Didn't drive the car yesterday becuase of the dodgy noise is was making, as I assumed it was buggered. I Took it to the garage this morning & it didn't make the noise!!! :x Getting it checked anyway. Will know in a few hours what wrong. Dan

The guy that had my G60 b4 me had this problem. It turned out to be dodgy earth on the speedo (the bit that goes in to the box) I'll try to get a pic of mine tonight if it helps.

Think I have done a CV joint :( The cars making some expensive noises! The cars booked in to the garage for tomorrow morning. If it is the CV Joint, anyone have an idea how much am I looking at roughly?? Cheers Dan

Duno what that's all about, if the front is lower, the ar5e of the car won't be gripy & won't go round corners very well at all. So I'm afraid you have herd wrong there mate. If you have the front lower than the back, that is good for sprints/ 1/4 mile type thing. It's all about weight transfer. Simple when you think about it.

If you want her to go round corners get the back a bit lower than the front. 8)

Mines fitted with a few screws in the top. She's on there pretty solid.

Do the right thing & put super/optimax in the car. The last thing you want is to be giving it large amounts of right foot & she starts running lean, & goes bang. If that happens you'll be sick.

Duno what the wheels are, but I'm not keen on them. Head lights look cool though, anyone know what type they are? Is it just the actual lenses that are different? Are they legal?

That's how I'm going to do my rear lights when I get me spare set to experiment on. I think they look much better. Watch this space! :D Hopefully they will look a little something like this
