I can sympathise with this, because I work in a petrol station I'm automatically thick as **** it pisses me off so much, so next time you go to a petrol station don't talk down to them chances are they have more bewtween their ears than you do! I also didn't realise how badly people stink they literally stink so we have air freshner behind the desk lol I hate customer relations , most of them I want to punch in the face! Been there on both accounts! When I finished my masters I worked in Virgin Megastore for a year cos I couldn't find a job (lack of experience yadda yadda) and some of the customers were right :censored: s! Thank God I now work away from the general public! And the free beer is another good point

Awwww crap. The trailers made it look really funny... I was gonna go see that... Maybe I'll wait 'til it's cheap on DVD.

A day late, but saw a lovely deep blue L-reg Rado (couldn't tell what flavour) coming out of Tonypandy. Was about half five. Gave you a grin out the window, but was passenger in hubby's black Audi S2.

I also drive my Rado whatever the weather. She actually seems to like going out in the rain, I think it's because the air is cool. She gets most tempermental on a hot summer's day. That happened to me Feb 2009. Someone doing a u-turn and bumped the rear. Damage wasn't too horrible thankfully... and then some t**t hit my car in the middle of the night, doing quite a large amount of damage and promptly drove off. So my go-to body shop did me a good deal to fix both lots of damage. I think Jimmy felt sorry for me... Looked brand new when he'd finished.

yup, its official....you've now got the bug. If only I had the knowledge to go with it!

Not exaclty what I did to my Corrado today (more like what I did to my Corrado the other day), but pulled out my old green filter (which was no longer green :gag: ) and replaced it with a super duper twin cone green filter. Getting the heat shield on this weekend  I know it's only a simple thing to do but I didn't half feel good with me socket set out and tinkering under the bonnet

No, it's not a rattle. It's a quite definite knocking, but you can't hear it, just feel it coming up through the steering and through the pedals.

17:25, black M reg VR6 pulling out of Pen Y Graig Shell garage. I was behind you in hubby's Audi S2. Looked very very tidy, but not sure the owner's on here....?

Thank you guys!! Really appreciate the help :salute: Will let you know how I get on.

Nice deep blue Corrado coming down the A4232 at around 16:20 today. Would have waved or flashed, but as I was going in the opposite direction, by the time I'd said 'Ooooh! Rado!' you were gone.

Whose C has got the highest milage thread....
Purgatori replied to Neokitz's topic in General Car Chat
Cor, and I was gutted cos mine ticked over 100K in August. I always hoped I'd be able to keep mine under 100K and as a second car and show car... Riiight, failed on all counts! -
Ok, I hate to do it, but I'm gonna have to get all girly... :gag: How do I get at the engine mounts? I can't find instructions I can understand on t'interweb. Also, what tools (if any) do I need?

My Dad can similarly push thin pen-like objects up his nasal cavity, but that's due to him having a piece of bone removed from it donkeys years ago. I have a lasting memory of him stealing one of the luminous yellow anntenna thingys from my space Lego to show me his party trick. I didn't play with it again.

Rumour has it that Halestorm have a new album out soon! I hope it's out in time for my birhtday or Chrimbo! As for what's playing on my stereo at the moment, bit old school, but Sisters of Mercy - A Slight Case of Over-bombing. :shades:

:shocked!: That is ridiculously shiny!!! Wish mine looked like that! What's your secret? :)

Wow! Badass Rado! :salute:

This is probably one of the best I have at the moment, but I'll be taking my girl out for a photoshoot soon, so expect to be bombarded with new picstures of my pride and joy soon! :luvlove:

Dorian Gray 6/10 Sets not so great, plot didn't really go anywhere and there wasn't enough of a pay-off at the end for my tatse, but it was still enjoyable to watch and I did enjoy it.

Cheers guys, if I can find my way round the mechanical bits I'll have a goosey  I may well be posting again in a few days being all girly and asking 'where is it?'

I don't think so, it's not listed on the worksheet they gave me, but then they only had my descriptions to go on...

Ok first off I apologise if this has been covered elsewhere, I just couldn't find the answer. So, problem is I've started noticing a tapping/knocking coming up from the underside of my VR under acceleration. I feel it most through the accelerator pedal and a little through the steering wheel. I don't have the knowledge or tools to try and fix it myself, so I took it to my trusted garage and asked them to check the steering, suspension etc etc. They found a worn wheel bearing (3rd replaced this year :mad2: ) and sorted out the tracking which was a little off. Other than that, they couldn't find anything obviously wrong. Problem came back after four days of driving. It's not noticeable at higher revs and speed, or crawling through rush hour.It comes through most noticeably in 2nd, once the revs hit 2,500 and 3,500. It'svery rhythmic and speeds up as the revs increase, but there is no hestitancy in the engine, though it doesn't feel like the power is getting laid down efficiently. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Any ideas? Many thanks in advance.

I know, I'm rubbish at getting round to things... There's some I posted on here when I first bought her, she's had a bit of wear and tear since then, which is one reason I haven't taken any pics recently. :(
-
THAT WAS ME!!!!! Silly but you wouldn't believe how chuffed I am to be spotted! Yay! Your wheels were soooo shiny, what on earth do you clean them with? I'm a little ashamed you saw mine so mucky. She needs a good wash and a new paint job ideally... And no, of course I didn't mind you parking next to me  Corrados unite!

Ok, so Auto Windscreens just fitted my screen. It's looks ok, at least it's in the right place and there's no gaping er gaps anywhere. Just hope it doens't leak when it rains now! And there's not too much sticky stuff on my paintwork, he made a good attempt at cleaning up after himself.
