  1. I have got a 92 vr6 with the standard bbs x spoke alloys which came on the earlier models, just wondering if any of you guys can confirm the size of the tyres as the car is at home and i want to order some today on-line now I think they are 205 15 50, but to be honest its the 205 bit i'm not too sure about... can anyone help? Cheers
  2. what about the Jamex coil over's on ebay, does anyone know if they are any good? - they are £310 including postage and those evo 2 things ane £250 including postage remember
  3. well the one i'm looking at is £2.5k, 85,000 miles with recaro interior and its totally mint, so i think to get the same spec as a RHD would be alot more!
  4. I’ve had 3 4-pot Corrado’s in the past, and sold my last one about 6 months ago. Anyway, I’ve always wanted a vr6 and have a found a nice one for sale that isn’t too far from me, the only thing is that it is German import left hand drive. I'm not bothered about it being a left hooker at all, I was just wondering if there are any drawbacks with a LHD, i was thinking more specifically about whether or not parts will be different, and hard to get hold of? for example if i wanted a set of coilovers or a ss exhaust, will the be different? Also were there any differences in spec? The particular model is a 1992 vr6, I think in the USA the vr6 was a 2.8 (like in the golf mk3) and i was wondering if it was the same for the German ones? Last question.... Price? its done 85,000 miles and its mint. can anyone give me a rough price that I should be looking to get it for? Thanks Lots. Ben

    MFA Help!

I need to check the oil pressure of my C, ive read somewhere that you can change the function of the mfa by doing this... Start Motor Move the MFA selector to "2" Press and hold the MFA end button (keep holding) Stop motor Start Motor Release the MFA end button. Press the MFA End button one time. and i was wondering if the oil pressure is one of the new functions, also do you know the correct pressure of a 2.0 16v? Thanks

    Rad Fan

Thanks for the reply mate, its a 1.8 16v. I think i know the switch you mean and there is a kink and a bit of a break in the wire leading to it! Would i need to replace the brass switch or repair the wire? sorry for sounding like an idiot!

    Rad Fan

The problem is that my fan doesnt cut out when i turn the engine off. It comes on at the right times, and doesnt overheat past about 95deg when driving, but when i turn off the ignition and leave the car the bloody thing doesnt turn off for ages. Sometimes if I start the car from cold drive up the road, turn round and come back then turn the car off, the fan comes on, and the engine is still cold! Ive been unplugging the wires to the fan its self every time I finish a journey, or just not connecting it if i know im going to have a clear run and this is a real pain! Can anyone advise what might be the problem? And what parts would be worth changing? Should I try changing the radiator thermo switch as mentioned in the running temp thread? Cheers guys
