Sorry to nick your thread matey, :wink: but I'll only be quick, If my diz cap and arm are screwed would that make my C have miss fire{s} and lead to over fueling?? just I'm up to my neck in it at the mo and the amount of money I'm putting in the C isn't doing me any favours :cry: :wink:

:) Yeah just done this and took it for a rip past VW Bristol's front door - so what have I done? :? its still not right but made me feel a little better just cause it didn't blow up! :lol: so what does tapeing the switch up achive? :?: is it telling the ECU that the engine is flat out? how does that help!!!!?? pulled that plug off {even though 2 of the wires were hangin off anyway} :oops: but what does that achive? and the problem is its still got a miss fire of some kind on idle!!!!? :x played with the idle screw {which was wound all the way out} :oops: which made no difference - what does that mean or do ??? sorry for all the questions - just Adie by the looks at what you've done to yours you'll know alot and how to resolve these f'in problems that {WE} are havin :wink: an it aint no fun when I cant fly like I used to

Sorry mate yeah your right your engine is totally different from mine I've given up with mine now its all going t1ts up will have one last go today and then it will have to wait for a couple of months untill after x-mas before I have any kind of money then I hope to take it {or drag it down to Darren G-werks} and ask him to sort it and tweek it :? :( :cry:

ISV is the say 5" lond silver torpedo with tubes coming off of it that sits on top of the rocker cover {top of the engine} just make sure all the pipes are seated well - as for leaks if you cant hear them or see splits etc and you still want to check you can buy sealant check at car parts shop :salute:

Any chance blue95 or ving60 you could get/give dimensions and sizes as I think I might be able to source some matierals for scuttle a little bit different - I will post pics when done if I do :wink:

Adie - just tried the above ............................... nothing - tried the other holding switch thing in and ......................................... yes you gessed it nothing, do you think there could be anything else thats making this happen? I'm fecked if I can work it out gunna try flushing the ISV through with cleaner and then chucking some injector cleaner through - and feck it gun the t1t's off it - any help gladly welcome - from anyone :wink: :cry:

your car looks rude by the way - can you do me a favour and let me know what the man or lass you go to see says thats wrong with the car - I've spoke to Darren via email a couple of times and plan to go to his place - but its a fair old way from me and :oops: I cant afford the petrol bill there let alone the possible cost of the bill once hes done his magic!? :wink: do you have your lambda connected/diconected? can you tell me what order the wires are in from left to right as the last 2 of mine are cut/fraid and wouldn't mind reconecting them to see if it makes any difference if you get my drift cheers pal - I'm sure we'll talk agin 8)
