Hi all my cars engine has given up on me! so im after a new engine for it been offered a 90'000 mile engine in v good condition fitted for £400 is this alot about right or even cheap ?? need some guidance before i say yep go for it cheers james

Hi i managed to change my engine mount yipee! too some people this isnt a big deal but this was my first one! fairly easy if you take your time too! car feels a bit smoother but im quite certain the rear mounts need changing now! got a new fan too whitch has too satges unlike my old one! !!

where abouts would yu put the axle stands? wheres a safe place in your opinion?? cheers james

Hi i am going to change the front engine mount on my car tommorow/sunday i wondered if anyone has done a 'how to' or can do me a guide on how its done. Theres nothing in the haynes manual and ive searched on here but cant find anything! any help aprreciated james

Hi all i managed too burn out my radiator fan motor the other day :cry: and i need too know whichfan will fit my car does anyone have any ideas which it is on the gsf site theres three listed ones a 2 speed motor and fan blade the others just sya motor and fan etc....... its for a 1991 1.8 16v also i need a front engine mount can some one point me in the right direction? thankyou james

Hi m8 im in the same boat as you really! rado vrs had 190bhp and a 0-60 figure of 6.4 secs (iirc) they made storm models whitch where iirc last editions and only 250 were made some had leather but im not sure what models etc.... thats all i know im sure you'll get loads more help but theres my 2 pence! :-) cheers james

Hi all what are g60's like then??? the 0.60 (8.1) time seams a little low for saying its a supercharged 1800 what can be done too improve this ? ? i know its still quick standard but how can it be made quicker??? chipped and pulleyed? what does this involve how much etc...... i would like one in nugget yellow but how rare is this colour ??? is the suspension uprated compared too my valver??? just wondered james

well thats what im going too do then 8) anybody want a valver?? lol ive heard a vr they do sound awesome but my jaw dropped when i heard reports of 15mpg when 'used' !!! is this true but i also love the sound of a s/g spooling up is 16VG60 car advertised on the site ??? or is he in the process of selling i could be interested any links too pictures of his car ?? im a right pain my missus is cursing me telling me too keep the one ive got etc... but im a serial car changer!! and an adrenaline junkie 8) definately not straying from corrados . they are simply awesome

Thats what i thought m8 just seeing if people reccomend certain ride heights suspension too use etc..... imo it handles better than my old mk2 gti! and this was awesome!

Hi as some of you know i bought a rado about 3 weeks ago and i love it etc.. but i now am faced with a dilemma! i have come in too some money 8) around 4k too be exact!!!! so what shall i do! keep my valver which needs alot of body work doing arches have gone and i want too have it resprayed .The engine also requires some attention it stinks of oil but doest actually use much if any :? get all the above done buy some new rims lower it and other bits and bobs (lights grilles exhaust etc....) or would you sell it and buy a good rado from the start im sure i could pick up a lovely rado for around this much id would be after FOR SURE a g60 or possibly a vr6 as i can insure bth the g60 insurance is actually cheaper than my valver and too be honest i think i should f bought a g6 any way! what would you do??????????????? cheers

Hi my rado handles fantastically i absouloutely adore it its the best hadling car i've driven and i love it! what i wanted too know was i am planning on lowering it etc... is it possible to actually make the handling worse... or what have you done too make it even better. i just wondered as i am very happy with the hadling but not the way it looks :lol: james

sh*t not happy loks like i was sold a shed! ffs engine has done 109'000 miles my car does sound a little noisy ie slight ticking thought nothing of it bugger where is the oil pump pick up strainer is it a big job? thanks james

Hi got the switch fitted it and now we have a fan! :D the water tempreture hovers just below and on 100'c which sounds ok doesnt it?? oil tempreture hasnt gone over 98' sits at 95/6 but oil light flashes occasionally sometimes for a minute or so then maybe just one flash and beep! if i rev the engine it stops it!! the oilk level is fine too anyone have any ideas? thanks for your help guys 8)

went too gsf got a switch only too find its the wrong the one on my rad is 3 pin the one i was sold has 2!!!! soo im pretty gutted my dad said that it might have the wrong radiator in it as it had it repalced ome time last year??

which one do i need low temp or high temp? thanks

oil 94 degrees# can someone tell me if this will rise or fall if the h/g had gone? water 100/110 dropping too 80-90 on main roads no traffic thankyou i am taking it somewhere tommorowto be looke dat hope shes ok #!
