1992 - Corrado G60, Pearl Green, Black leather, 121,500 miles, starts first time runs well, doesn’t burn oil and plenty of power, 12 months MOT Was my daily driver from 2007 till 2012 when we came back from the Netherlands to have our first child, since then it’s really only been a weekend toy but I can’t justify it any longer so reluctantly for sale! She has always been a very reliable car never letting me down in 1000’s of miles of road trips across Europe and the UK Body - Generally good condition, usual stone chips and a scuff on the front bumper, but no peeling lacquer there are some small rust patches - Standard BBS wheels all in good condition, with 4 new tyres - Recent steering rack replacement - Recent new battery - Reiger front grill - Recent replacement of blower fan - Personalised number plate G6OPA (CURRENTLY FOR SALE, IF IT SELLS BEFORE THE CAR l'LL PUT THE ORIGINAL PLATE BACK ON) - £1000's of receipts for work done over the years including all the genuine VW service parts (see pictures) - Spoiler, sun roof, windows, and mirrors all in good working order Engine - Supercharger fitted as a brand new replacement by VW in 2002 rebuilt and R1 ported by Jabba in 2003 and last rebuilt by GWerks in 2010 fitted with new braided oil feed and return line, only done 10k miles since the rebuild (have rebuild certificate) - 68mm pulley with SNS chip (have original pulley and chip if required) - RSR outlet and Samco hose - Milltech Stainless exhaust - Samco coolant hoses - Recently replaced coolant and oil sensors - Regularly serviced by me - No leaks or overheating issues Suspension - Adjustable coilover (lowered by aprox 40mm) Brakes - Standard but recently replaced all round including (obviously) new rear bearings - Brembo braded brake hoses all round - New pads all round Interior - Very tidy Black Leather in good condition, no rips or tears. - Door handles both sides replaced with the Dave16v handle replacement kits - Clarion faceoff head unit with uprated JBL speakers (in standard positions) - Spare keys, original handbook and service manual Spares - Front Coilovers (to match rears replaced last year) - Original induction system (airbox) - Rear license plate light cover new from VW unpainted The car is advertised elsewhere but I’d rather keep it in the family if someone here wants to take her on I'm after £2500 ono and the car is located near Wallingford, OX10 Any questions please let me know (07824140405) Thanks Dan

Yea it's heavily ported the outlets are knife-edged, and Gwerks said is was in very good nick, unfortunately there is no standard between the re-builders lets just says it's somewhere between Stg4 and R1 and hope it doesn't upset anyone :-)
-
Yea the £350 on ebay is a starting price, I'm obviously hoping for more and I think £400 is a fair 'buy it now' price for them if that's ok with you..
-
Ah ok thanks man, I wasn't sure I'll change the title so as not to miss-lead anyone. Dan

Hey Mate, any chance you would sell the boot lid damper? The small black plastic bit that sticks out of the bottom of the boot and prevents damage from closing too hard, mine just broke yesterday :-( Thanks Dan
-
You will need, a G60 Engine, ECU, Super Charger, Mounts, Brackets a sh*t load of boost pipework, Intercooler and Loom as for advice, I would say sell the 16v and go buy a factory built G60 :-) or buy the G60 Bits minus engine, and grab yourself the 16v G60 conversion kit. Cheers Dan
-
If you have checked for leaks in the boost pipework and not found anything I would be looking at checking and then double checking the timing, it can make a huge difference on the G60 if it's even slightly out. Dan

Its not a standard part, maybe part of an alarm/tracker thing? any writing on it or manufacturers sticker? Best bet would be to follow those cables back to where ever they go, I wouldnt use the car again without disconnecting it though! Cheers Dan

What the fu$% is wrong with the UK legal system when this walking puddle of afterbirth can be caught drink driving Three times before a jail sentence is even considered and yet they can throw people in jail (e.g Julian Assange) without charge or conviction..?? -

Last one in the UK? I love it when dealers say that, I bought a 50mm last weekend from Capitol Skoda. It's virtually impossible for any dealer to know exactly how many items are left in the UK at any given point, maybe from their main suppliers yes. The amount of times I've heard 'obsolete' from a dealer only to find said part myself, phoning around other VAG suppliers. There is so many VAG suppliers and 3rd party oem vag outlets around the country that main stream dealers have no stock information from. In my experience, there's still a hell of a lot of parts available for the Corrado and even MK1 Golfs for that matter, from the Classic VW suppliers over in Germany. Any dealer worth his salt will give you details about this service. Sorry I'm not having a rant here, but after years of restoration work and spending hours accessing ETKA at the main dealers, there's very few parts (despite the obvious) that I've yet to find. You may have to pay through the nose of course, unless you've got good club discount 8) So the 50mm Splitter part number is?? :)
