Hey there, Ive just got my G60 back on the road after having the charger rebuilt and now im getting a beeping noise wheni accelerate in 2nd gear. Im not taking it round to the red line cos of the charger running in, it happens when i get to about 4000 rpm and change gear. :cry: She was fine before now this noise has appeared and i cant pin piont where its coming from??? Even new pumps can have faults honest....

There is a problem there try another pump it maybe that????

My handling on 17s isnt the worlds best it does tend to tram line when at speed, and pulls one way or the other. 18s would just be to big....

Could be the release bearing starting to collapse?? Could just be the clutch needs clening out might be full of dust?? Does it drive alright is there any slip from the clutch??

Mite just get your brakes checked to be on the safe side...

Well if if its not doing it on normal drivin then you should be ok for quite a while, dunno on price depends where you go as to how much they charge for labour. Also if its jus the joint thats gone you should get change from £200 if the wheel bearing has gone aswell then add maybe £80 or more??? That should be labour and vat included anything more and there pulling your pants down.... :lol:

Thats the whole point of owning anything you want it to be to your tastes if that menas you want your car to look exactly the same as one you have seen in a magazine or where ever thats your choice. If people dont like it then tough cos its not thier car its yours do with it as you wish. Just yellow lights dont look nice hehehe... :lol:

Dunno its a Euro thing i saw two Rado's in Germany with yellow main beam lights they looked poo poo. You struggle getting any light to come out of them as it is with the lights being a poor design...

I wouldnt fancy it if its really banging i definatly wouldnt thrash it. There is always a chance that the outer joint could collapse and lock the whhel up or worse disconnect and cause some serious damage...

Outer CV joint has gone and the wheel bearing has gone dosent sound good mate. It could end up costing a bit i wouldnt take on the task as a DIY job i would garage it. The strut tops will move down thats normal mine do that if they move side to side there knackered. Dunno bout the gear problem maybe the cables are starting to seize up???? Best of luck?? James

Ive just fitted a set of Koni coilovers on my G60, i use mine everyday and i find that the ride is acceptable. Your going to get a bit more of a hard ride with coilovers. Most of the time you pay for quality which comes with the name try Darren at G Werks or Venom Motorsport....
