  1. Seems like us lot, most of his problems are Corrado related >> http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=the_street_shop&iid=-1&de=off&items=25&which=negative&interval=365&_trkparms=negative_365 http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=the_street_shop&iid=-1&de=off&items=25&which=neutral&interval=365&_trkparms=neutral_365
  2. Sometimes you have to be an a$$hole to beat the a$$holes that are out there... and there's plenty of them :brickwall:
  3. My rules are, if items don't arrive within 2 weeks start a Paypal dispute, they will 99% go in your favour, then if the goods turn up, its easy enough to repay the seller

    Nice storm

Was looking at that earlier on Pistonheads, service history is a bit sketchy from 2002 - 2014  It does say its only done 3k since 2006, but thats hardly an excuse not to service it in 12 years! Service History is as follows: - Ian Skelly VW - 9,141 Miles – 02/05/1996 L.C. Charles VW - 18,033 Miles – 22/08/1996 Rawsons Eurocars Ltd VW - 50,267 Miles – 14/05/1998 Aylesbury Mitsubishi – 60,620 Miles – 12/05/1999 Aylesbury Honda – 71,924 Miles – 09/05/2000 Wayside VW – 95,014 Miles – 09/01/2002 Nick Shorrock Autos – 106,834 Miles – 19/05/2014
  5. Mines is a business contract hire, 3months down to start then 23months @ £360odds, hand the car back at the end and forget about it, maintenance will be minimal, tyres maybe, zero road tax, zero depreciation. I've bought our last 4 or 5 cars, all Audis, second hand and have spent a fortune on tyres, servicing, timing belts, road tax and then all the hassle dealing with half wits when it comes to changing due to getting a $hitt trade in value. Its not for everyone, but it suits me and I cant wait and Jamie, I'm sure you'll let us all know when yours arrives :thumbleft:
  6. Spotted this on Facebook, could be a bit terrifying at first :batman:
  7. Steady now  No agreed value, but I was thinking the same regarding the market being flooded, in which case I'm thinking, they will be worth a lot less than what I'd probably get an agreed value at now  I agree with the wheel change, but I wasn't gonna fork out even more just to upgrade the wheels
  8. Nice one Jamie, It was my own fault I missed out on the cheaper deal, me and the wife were busy at work and couldn't get a chance to drive one together, just to make sure the down size in space was gonna be ok for us. VW scrapped loads of deal when they realised what the dealers/brokers were up to, shame really as thats what made them pull the deal :bonk:

  10. Zero depreciation, cant beat it and I'll be quite happy to keep this for 2 years Yes James, thats what they think at my local VW dealership anyways
  11. Sounds superb in sport mode
  12. Would have been Lapiz Blue as pic below.. the colour to have so I was told and that was the problem, everyone is going for it, even the wife was trying to change my mind on the Grey
  13. I hear Blackberry is the new Red Matt
  14. Cheers folks and yes Jim, I missed the boat on the mega cheap deals due to the dealers fiddling for their mates, they were £199+vat on a 2yr business lease covering 5k miles per year, not really enough miles, but the excess was only 6p per mile. Thats all gone now, 10k per year minimum and the rental is now around £250+vat, I'm paying just over £360inc vat with the metalic paint and satnav. I think its the best looking Golf since the Mk4, its just a bit chunkier and purposeful looking. Not near as much room as our A4, but heyho, I'm happy
  15. Just ordered a Mk7 Golf R to replace our Audi A4 Avant. Its a manual, 5dr in Limestone Grey. Had a test drive in the DSG, but its not for me, I like a proper gearstick Couple of net pics of the colour
  16. Just a heads up for yall, this is where I sourced the NEW cable when I was looking for one a couple of weeks ago as they are now obsolete. Worked out around £70 including shipping from the States. Great guy to deal with and it arrived within one week Probably best to email first, just to make sure they still have stock :thumbleft: http://www.evwparts.com/vwparts//536823531.html
  17. Cheers Jim, just waiting on the tyres arriving from our friendly forum supplier, didn't want to order until the rims arrived.
  18. Yep, pretty rare in this fitment though Cheers mate, You just have to look a lot... and I do
  19. You could have brought them back and saved me a few quid. They look straight enough, no tyres on yet, hope they balance up ok
  20. Yep, spokes on yours are longer and no dish, were they not Porsche fitment?
  21. Cheers mate, just need to get some rubber and see how they look fitted
  22. Colour is Graphite Grey of some description, pics are from the iphone and its not really picking the colour up that well
  23. 3 Piece Speedlines, 17x7.5, ET35, 5x100
