    Recaro Subframes

500:crazyeyes: they are hard to come, but thats extortion
  3. That looks easy enough to make, just start with one of these
  4. Yeah, I do miss the 12v roar, I was considering your Bmc when it was £80, but then you changed the price:rolleyes:
  5. Give these guys a call http://www.lcplc.co.uk/ I've used them for our last 5 house moves
  6. Why did you change from the CDA?
  7. Wrong thing The ZW1's are nice, but as Ben says, they are heavy and once the 301's are gone, you'll struggle to get another set, but as you say, you have things to do and there's plenty money in them to do a lot
  8. I see you've put the RSs up for sale Chris :suprised: shame as they looked perfect on the car
  9. I spotted a certain Green Storm up for sale yet again!
  10. One link to all parts is easier :smug: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/petehaven/m.html?item=120858772704&sspagename=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649&_trksid=p4340.l2562
  11. Stick it in the ebay & misc forum with a link to your advert, at least it gets it in circulation for now :thumbleft:
  12. Careful not to bend it when putting it in :camp: What mileage was the original on
  13. Very nice, I like the pic, fuel tanker waiting in the background
  14. Rip it out, it looks bloody awful  If its a gas fire, it must have some form of ventilation, probably a power flue, which would suggest the wall the fire is located on is open outside, surely some sort of chimney/flue could be made up for a log burner
  15. Did you go to a show and no one turned up
  16. Old red bus was pretty quick, so it must be pretty damned quick, 4 ringed V8 maybe :norty:
  17. Sorry mate, I dont know him personally and I dont have a contact number, looking at his profile, he hasn't been on here since the 2nd Feb, maybe somethings come up
  18. I think its red and that would go nicely with silver:thumbleft: What has replaced the Rocco?
  19. THIS IS NOT MINE, PLEASE DO NOT PM AND ASK ME FOR A FITTING PRICE:lol::lol: Looks like everything is there for a straight install  http://www.edition38.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=436527 Here is a copy from the add for those who are not Ed members. I have decided to sell my R32 engine conversion as I am after a new car and could do with the cash to put towards it I had this conversion in my MK3 golf and ran it for around 1K. The engine is nothing short of awesome, both in sound and power. It pulled like a train with plenty of torque! This is everything that you will need to convert a MK3 golf GTI or VR6. I can also supply subframes and everything to convert a non GTI mk3 or MK2 golf. The kit includes: • MK5 R32 engine – BUB code and around 7K (no paperwork) • VR6 gearbox • New sachs vr6 clutch kit and starter motor fitted • Black samco hoses • VR6 thermostat housing • MK4 R32 fuel rail • MK4 R32 alternator bracket • MK4 R32 belt tensioner • Alfa V6 throttle body • New genuine throttle cable • MK3 VR6 clocks and loom • Emerald standalone ECU (mapped at Storm – 286BHP – see printout) • Storm wiring loom for engine/ecu straight into CE2 fuse box • Inlet manifold painted red • CDA induction kit • 6-1 stainless conversion exhaust manifold • Gear shifter with B&M short shift • Gearbox has new oil as does engine (still full). This was absolutely faultless and one hell of an engine, real shame to sell but I’m after a new car so need to get some money together. Like I say this is pretty much everything that is needed (depending what base of car it is going in). I can supply other parts if required if it is not going in a MK3 VR6 or GTI (at additional cost). This literally is plug and play and could be swapped in a couple of days. I would rather sell this complete and can deliver at cost (I have a van and engine hoist so no problem). If you were to go out and buy all this it would cost in the region of £4,500…..I am after £2,500, which I think is pretty cheap. I am open to sensible offers; please don’t offer me stupid money for it! If you would like this fitting I would happily consider that too (at an additional cost). 20. I know it doesn't help your situation, but I'd just like to say that I bought a set of Fogs and Indicators from Adam at the end of December, no problems whatsoever
