take all of the fuses out, clean them with some wirewool and put them back in, I had the same thing a while ago and it worked for me :-)

found this guy from the states on ebay selling passat handles with with mechs modified and the handles and everything, I ordered my set at the weekend so will let you know what the quality etc etc is like when they get here: http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZusQ2deuro

ordered passat rear door handles, chrome interior door handles and a door repair kit to replace parts on mine as I am going to take the door cards off next week to clean them anyways -

ouch, £165 is expensive, it cost me £10 to get in and £15 per 20 minute session at Eurofest last year

my windows stopped working the other day, took every single fuse out and cleaned them and replaced them (none had blown) and windows now work fine!!??!!

dents guys are great.. we use "dings and dents" in bristol, the guys are genius's. dont suppose you have the number for them as I have a dent in my bonnet that needs sorting

my oil temp normally sits around 90 - 96 when raging it, 84 when driving sensibly (rarely) since i got the new coolant pipes and housing

I just had all my coolant pipes replaced by OEM VW ones (going for an OEM engine bay look) and it dropped my temps by approx 6 - 10 degrees, I got charged £280 for all main pipes (not breathers) a new plastic water pump housing and fitting (including topping up with VW coolant) which I though was pretty good vfm (now I just got to sell my red Samco's when they finally arrive) Now after a good hour "ragging" session the temps are between 88 and 92 compared to 98 or so before
