Hi people Hope some one on here can help me, I have a 1991 1.8 16v corrado, which have not had for long. Right basically whats happening is it just won`t start up, there just don`t seem to be any spark or out. I have taken plugs out and gave them a clean up, also i thought if i took one of the plugs and leads off and earthed it on the engine it should spark when attempting to start, this did not happen on any of the plugs. can i earth it off anywhere on the engine as i might of been doing it wrong. Also when i took the furthest to the left spark plug out and tried getting a spark off, the engine started on the remaining 3. But when i took these off to get a spark off them none of them did Hope some 1 can give us some advice on what to try next thanks Kenno

come on mate your petrol cost nothing out there anyway na just joking mate, its a vr6 am guessing there not an economical car to run thanks kenno

what age / mark golf will have this sort of pump and motor thanks kenno

HI PEOPLE RIGHT JUST BOUGHT CORRADO ABOUT 3 WEEKS AGO, ONLY CAME WITH ONE KEY, BEEN READING ON HERE SEARCHING FOR HELP WITH MY C/LOCKING PROBLEM AND HAVE COME ACROSS LOADS OF PEOPLE SAYING THAT CAR ONLY LOCKS WITH "FOB". INFACT NEARLY EVERY1 I CAME ACROSS SAID THIS. IS THIS JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE ALARM AND IMOBILISERS FITTED AND I DON`T OR DID THE CORRADO COME WITH ONE AS SATNDARD I HAVE A J REDG 1991 1.8 16V. ALSO MY OTHER PROBLEM IS MY CENTRAL LOCKING DOES NOT WORK AT ALL FROM EITHER DOOR OR FROM INSIDE, IT IS TOTALLY DEAD, HEAR NO PUMP MAKING ANY NOISE OR ANYTHING ANY HELP ON EITHER OF THESE WOULD BE GREAT THANKS KENNO

Sorry to but in, but i am in the same boat, apart from mine has never worked since i got the car approx 3 weeks ago. Been reading on here so i guess the pump is in the boot, do these normally fail on these. any help appreciated thanks kenno
