My Gearstick Mod! + quicky question about dashbulbs?
Corradokid135 replied to ivor Fastun's topic in Interior
Looks great ! :) -
I really don't know if they did or not because i bought the car a mont after the clutch was put in. But i will surely check that out asap to see if thats the case. thanks so much for your help.

So here's my problem. Recently i have been having this problem where my clutch pedal won't return all of the way back and it gets stuck to the point of where i have to put the toe of my shoe behind it to pull it back. Also another thing that has been happening is when i am at a complete stop with the clutch in in 1st gear she'll keep try to creep forward :brickwall: . So my question is what could be the problem of this? The clutch is a stage three clutch that was installed a little over a year ago and untill this last month i have had abosolutely no problems with it. Any info or suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated , Thanks :)

Check out my link in my sig, it has a pic of my interior. its a little dirty right now due to winter but i think you get the idea

Actually i have had this problem in cold weather and sometime rain many many times with my clifford alarm. What i do is right above the driver side window i give it a nice little hit. makes the alarm go off then i press the lock/unlock button to turn it off, then the car is happy. I have no idea why it does this but my friend jeff has the exact same problem with his 93 slc which also has a clifford in it. So like always i guess its just a corrado thing haha.

MY recomendation would be a kenwood. They are cheap (some models), very easy to use, and also have great sound. No matter which kenwood you chose it would have great sound ( if you went kenwood)

Glad you got it fixed :) , gotta love vw and theyre crazy wiring lol

In my rado I am running crazy amounts of audio . if you look at my sig you can see ;) . but yes, a 120amp alternator will fit . I currently have one in my rado but soon will be getting a 180 amp one built because of how much wattage im running. Hope this somewhat helps and good luck :)

on the aftermarket sony there will be a yellow wire and red wire coming off the deck. If they just just switched those will putting it in you should be able to switch each one back and it will work fine :)

I was talking non visable done right hole drilling. My 90 has 3 small holes drilled in its trunk for the 0 gauge ground wire :) haha. as long as you do it correctly it works great. It was just an opinion anyway. Goodluck

Ooh! Ooh! Another Corrado! Must wave!!!
Corradokid135 replied to storm_warning's topic in General Car Chat
I belive it should be in the owners manual to wave when you see another corrado haha. just do to the fact of how few there are. especially in the part of america that im in. -
should be able to earth it anywhere in the trunk , just drill a little hole in the bottom of the trunk, sand off the paint where it will be, and then screw it down. If you dont feel like drilling holes then the seatbelt thing should probally work ok to.

well first off what you should do to find out whats what is to use a little light tester to find out 12 volt, ground, and ignition. 12v should always have power even when the car is off, ground should be pretty simple to find. and igniton wire should have power only when the key is turned to the on position. Hope this helps you a little bit ;)

Component Speakers Query and Suggestions
Corradokid135 replied to stevie_f_2004's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
any 5.25" component speaker setup will work in the corrado, the only thing you really have to do is find a good spot to mount the tweeter. Ill try to post pics of mine up here soon so you can see. -

Urgent advice - Rear parcel shelf - mounting 6x9's
Corradokid135 replied to Jay2's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
It should be just fine with only using the rear parcel shelf and no mdf. 6x9's arent to heavy ;) -

alpine vs other head units - want to match corrado interior
Corradokid135 replied to dukest's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
the kenwood kdc-x990 is a great blend. i have one in my 90 and it looks awesome. It is a little on the high end price for a cd deck ($550 us) but the sound quality and features are amazing. -
Good idea TEMPEST . thats the way i found alot of my interior parts was from wrecked corrados. take some time online and on the phone checking if by luck theres a corrado near you that has the stuff you need ;)

Seeing as everyone is showing off their car cleaning efforts
Corradokid135 replied to PhatVR6's topic in Members Gallery
i think it looks great. way cleaner than my rado right now haha -
I had the exact same thing happen. I have the clifford rs 3.5 . what it was was the remote. i replaced the remote and havent had a single problem since. Yours could be different but thats what solved mine. And until you get it working right ,to unlock it when it doesnt work hit the car, the alarm will go off and then push the lock/unlock button on the remote. it will turn it off and you should be able to get in. At least this way worked for me

my 93 is a green auto :)
