Borbets are nice on a Raddo :norty: -
Got this the other day, what do you think? Love the sound of the full Milltek exhaust, getting a chip and a Kr cam/cat bypass for it soon, should i go for the 50mm inlet manifold or not bother?
-
Thanks for the offer, its actually locally sourced....so happy days :D
-
Yes you are right it is bordeaux...i forgot the colour, so just said burgundy  Seems a pretty good price with Long t&t, the car also has full VAG history aswell, pity there is no paperwork for the engine rebuild, so i will take it as the mileage stated on the clocks :(
-
There wasnt one in that photo....hole appeared when i prodded the bubble
-
I have been offered a 90 1.8 16v (burgundy in colour) 120k, and engine was apparently rebuilt at some stage within the last couple of years, the body is ok appart from a hole near the petrol cap, the interior is unmarked black leather/door cards. Standard wheels In fact everything is intact and works inc sunroof/active spoiler. 11 months MOT 5 months tax. Only fault is flashing coolant light (plenty in it) sticky rear caliper and the hole near the petrol filler. Would you buy it for £750?
-
typical, after i just bought them!
-
Ordered a set to transform the front yesterday (smoked), how long do they normally take to come?
-
Alot of overfuelling problems seem to be linked with the lambda sensor.
-
I can't see the tax rising on LPG due to it being a clean fuel, and at the moment things are very much towards the stop of global warming, so putting tax on LPG would be madness.
-
I think it needs a few subtle body mods but not too much or it would ruin the car, side strips and rear VW badge removed and clear side indicators/rear lights tinted.
-
sorry about the bad picture, it was getting dark, so i couldnt stop the flash going off, plus the car is filthy  http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/du ... G_0906.jpg

Please don't buy a SOLID front engine mount, I've just removed mine. Speak to G-Werks about their uprated front mounts instead!!!!! why not? Are the corrado front mounts the same as the mk2 gti/G60? if so how about a vibratech one?
-
Would be good if you were to use with a FMIC, otherwise i would stick with the original
-
Got them, and fitted them today, they totally transform the back of the car and they flash amberish! Will take photos when i wash the car!!
-
Would be good for concours entrants
-
So i have made a mistake then  because i am sure Old Bill will not be too happy with red indicators
-
What do you think for a tornado red car? had a few when i won them  http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... %3AIT&rd=1

Good stuff, injectors are one less thing to get then!
-
I suppose you could always use a good fuel such as BP ultimate, etc, then the pistons will not foul up as quick
-
That was quick  Reason i ask is i fancy more power, but with reliability and torque. I fancy more power, but dont want to go OTT and spend thousands  The most i would want to go to is the head done, slightly bigger injectors and a 3.5 FPR. I have at the moment a S/S cat free exhaust, RSR outlet on charger, boost return pipe deleted, K&N panel filter, stage 2 rebuilt charger (currently reading 2050 on the MFA check)68mm pulley and chip (jabba) but i am considering an SNS one, due to bad reports i have heard of the chip being crude, would an SNS chip be more driveable and noticeably faster?
-
Read a bit on the G60 head being probably one of the best mods with chip/pulley. 1. Why does the boost drop with a polished/ported head? 2. Will i need bigger injectors/FPR to maximise on the extra airflow? 3. With the ported head being fitted, will the standard gaskets still fit on assembly? 4. Any beneficial things to be done while the head is off, apart from T/belt? 5. Is it worth doing the throttle body/inlet manifold aswell?

Just did an oil change with Castrol gtx 10w40, as i was told it was just as good as synta silver
-
I would say so, as the engine weight is not that different
