yea will do just didnt want to spend 400+ on a remap to then put a new blower on an have wasted the money, anyone tell me the setup's their runnin on their own 20vt?

Now that the 20vt is runnning good im thinking of getting it remapped but then i thought what about if you have the remap done then get a new turbo will the programm set itself up with the new turbo or would you then have to buy stage 2 remap etc Or would it be better just getting a K04 and some injectors for example any help welcome.......

Finally fixed the problem (touch wood), put a new MAF on it and it drives like a different motor, also found a hose had split just after intake, but still has a little misfire so coils are next

It was a valver herisites and dom won them on fleabay

My m8 has just broke the cable i think that opens the passenger door, did i read somewhere this is a bastrd to fix?

Yea wanted a badgeless grill, dubnut i want the same as yours does anyone know of any for sale?

Thinking of changing the grill as im not to sure on the eyebrow on it, only other one i know of is the old 7 slat one which i dont want but there are others are'nt there

I just made this same discovery sunday, thought the surround was loose but the bolt had broken through the weld, just re-drilled a hole and hoping for the best..

Got a price of vw and now i wondered if anyone on here could maybe get me a better deal from somewhere else...... 1x lambda probe 1x MAF both are for 1.820vt AGU golf engine cheers faz

I was gunna go down the route of merc rims but the adaptors were £250+ VAT, golf+ quoted £170 :roll:

AB did you polish the bits your self? I know you can get polishing kits cause i fancy having a go myself, is it difficult?

So air control valve ignore and also my cars not got a Kat fitted and i think its only using the one lamba so just check that is ok Plugs just changed so i will test the coil pack and re-scan codes and finally i will check hoses round turbo (any particular one to look out for?) and buy a new MAF for it c heers for your help pete faz

Right Beaker the c is'nt running A/C so thats the first code, dont really need to worry bout that, i think the best thing to do is stick a new coil pack on cylinder 1 and a new MAF then see how it runs, what do you reckon cheers btw for digging that out :thumbleft:

Got the fault codes today P1433 17841-Secondary air pump relay J299 open circuit 17840-secondary air control valve N112 P1432 17526-02 heater circuit (bank 1-sns 2) open circuit (P1118) Bank 1 sensor 2 resistance too high (P1114) Can-bws power train missing message ABS ECU (P1649) 17978-engine ECU blocked P1570 error intermitant 17705-turbo/throttle valveconnection pressure loss (P1297) 16684-misfire recognised P0300 16685-cylinder 1 misfire detected P0301 16486 mass air flow sensor 670 signal too low P0102 well some are fairly sraight forward but others arn't, can someone break them down plz

FiXED must have been the rain and has now dried out cause all i did is fit the headlights back in

Dunno cant remember the offset but i think arches flared is the way to avoid any rubbing issues, not sure about the fronts tho catching?

I was just about to say there's a set of 9x16 on the e30zone.co.uk but the kiddie wants about £450 which is a little steep to me

Right i took each coil off and the car ran lumpy with all of them off so not a coil, i will have to plug it in tommorow and get the fault codes
