really sorry for you dude , remember whiplash is vary serious indeed and you WILL require COMPENSATION so do what the doc says -
cheers for that , never ceases to amaze me what people that know puters can do with puters ben 16v has put a link on the thread to my gallery cheers
-
today i brought a ex mod 110 {land rover} its the 2.5 n/a diesel, it has a top speed of about 65 and where ever i went a tail back formed behind me ,.... it was fantastic, .......... so i will be selling my 16v theres some pics of it in my gallery and i will draught up a proper for sale add in the next few days
-
dealer stamp or not its a lot of money to shell out on a oil change , could probably put the money to better use on other areas of the car
-
cheers chaps , i also have a large file with { all the cars recipts} thats everything from day one when the car was sold starting with the bill of sale { it cost £15500 new in 1991 } and has had £9000 spent on it over its life even have all the tax discs will probably still fork out for stamp....... feckin thing
-
my raddo is 1991 1.8 16v and has all its service stamps but not all are dealer i may add , so should i keep paying {shit loads} to have the oil changed , as reading the service schedule it would seem that this is all they do, oh and of course for a stamp in the book, when i have just changed the oil / oil filter/ air filter /power steering belt/ or should i record all the stuff i have done in the service book and count that as a service { brake fluid was done last year} also would the potential buyer of a 1991 16v thats got 180k on it even notice that its got a compleat service log or would they just go " oh its got 180k on the clock must be knackered! " and what does {{ inspection with additional operations every 30000km 20000 miles}} meen ? in a nut shell TO PAY FOR SERVICE STAMP or NOT TO PAY FOR SERVICE STAMP thats the question
-
just look for a corrado in car park and wait for the owner to return , normaly owners will happily talk about corrados ... also normaly a bit scarey looking too so aproach with caution!
-
nice one ! well done , and wellcome to the family
-
cnut stick with the advice i gave you mate . its worked on my 16v i did it last sunday, and my power steering has worked correctly all week
-
belt will be on off the shelf at halfords £ 3.20 or so an easy fix to do yourself you will need a 13mm ring spanner 13mm socket and wrench wd40 {well thats what i needed for my 1991 1.8 16v} once you have the new belt on, go for a short drive { not to far} just enough to warm up the belt . the new belt will probably stretch a bit and power steering will start to whine so then you tighten the adjusting bolt up to get tension back on the belt
-
jump in come on ! , no matter what you check for /find/rule out / and no amount of research will hinder the fact that you will be spending loads of time under a corrado bonnet so make sure you have a garage to pull it into or worse shedding out loads of money to have it fixed by others not to mention the worry that some fecker will scratch it / dent it/ lean on the door when its open/.. i hate that! kick em in the nads if they do corrado your gonna love it
-
thought i would fit a few lockable box's in the rear with big padlocks and staples {you know the sort} and keep windows for visability , just been on autotrader site saw a nice blue csw for 2450£ shame it has 2.5 petrol though! 18 to 23 mpg is unacceptable
-
in the past i have had a 1998 disco then later a freelander i found that both made a good work vehicule, but this time round i'm looking for something that i won't have to worry to much about, what with "car park door bangers" and the norwich union giving out insurance to people that shouldn't be driving, {rant explained}= in under one year two N,U drivers have ran into my corrado and exepted full liability also i have three "door banger chips" on the pasenger side and a small scratch,.. feckers! anyhow i like CSW 110 and yeh your dead right about the 200tdi, its my preferred engine . CSW ticks all the boxes for me i'll be able to put my little boy in the back at weekends and when its time for work chuck a load of gear in the hold as i said i only want to spend 2k and am a few weeks off my target amount at present
-
ill be selling mine soon as i want a landrover, look on member gallery ditchs 16v // its 1991 1.8 16v has 180k /fsh /full electrix/ all recipts from day one/ not sure yet as to how much ill sell for but wont be more than 2k
-
725 that a bit on the small side , that was a 28"" if i remember correct as i said i measured halford drive belts this morning
-
CSW would also concider a SIII not going to {"LETS OFF ROAD"} so am not bothered about silly stuff bars ect just want a bit of a crate thats simple mechanically with a good chassis and bulkhead, i would put steel wheels on it myself anyhow as i have always hated alloys { rim leakers }
-
i just changed my power steering belt this morning {1991 1.8 16v} i measured the old belt then measured drive belts at halfords , i found that hb750a fitted its 30"" , as i said i did it this morning and now power steering works correct , wet in the drivers footwell might be clutch fluid from the master cylinder if your are realy unlucky
-
im looking for a 110 landrover , i want to spend 2k not after anything fancey just want to use it for work
-
check the belt for cracks between the vvvvvvvv teeth . mine was knackered so i measured it then went to halfords then measured belts in stock untill i found the correct sise, dont bother with thire reference book as it was incorrect the belt that fitted my 1991 1.8 16v was hb750a 30"" drive belt , i fitted it this morning and now have power steering again
