bonnet cable wont release on drivers side .. other side still lifting .. ive now snapped the end of cable from tugging on it for last few hours.... any easy ways to open .. basically my battery has gone flat .. so need to open bonnet to jump start her .. tried bumping etc ..no joy .. in a real pickle guys .. ill have to buy a new cable.. so yet more money going into a car i cant sell.... PLEASE HELP ANDY

its just sat outside mate .. the missus dont like driving it... and i aint got time.. so unforunately she has to go ill take 1700 as she is which i think is a bargain considering the money ive spent .. its had new starter motor alternator dizzy battery fuel pump.. etc etc .. the paint cost me almost 1500 think its an ideal car for someone who wants to get into the scene but doesnt wanna start from scratch ... urs is lookin gorgeous as ever ..

i know what u mean mate .. was lookin to get my keskin painted and polished .. but they can be winter wheels.. and sort them out in the new year. corrados eh.. i love them but there a nightmare.. my heaters only working on 4. my rear screen aint working and the heaters on my washer jets are broke..got a wet patch in pass footwell got to get things fixed soon winters coming!!

sorry to hear that mate ur lucks like mine.. as soon as its lookin good something happens its so annoying ive got a dink on my rear panel from a trolley and some spider cracks were i can only assume someone has reversed or driven into my bumper .. i park miles away from everyone and always park diagonally across 2 spaces but always come bk to find some knob parked right up close.. whats there problem.. surely they can see i park like this to keep idiots away from it.. im thinkin of trading my on. . and maybe buying a tt ? i know i know i should even think about it .. but theres only so much love u can give to a car .. and only so much cash and mines turning into a money pit !! and i know uve thrown some cash into ur baby andy

whats general condition of the bumper like mate ? is there any cracks or anything in it ? or is it the one on ur car ?

im selling a set as well.. but only 7.5 on front and was lookin for advice on a price mine owe me best part of a grand .. ouch gotta tax mine this week to.. hurts like hell especially when u see state of the rds in britain

yeah i had it ready for e38.. thats what i mean mate i did my best to get there and roll lookin reasonably good.. but was too far to travel without checkin oil and water levels.. i was gutted matey .. big style.. loving that pic of u asleep while on the bow.. on the skint -av forum.. class

where do i start ... aint ben on here for a while as my lap top has been busted.. plus ive prob had the worst luck ever over the last few weeks,, firstly some stupid woman !! (sorry to offend but she was) drove into me in the lane.. ins co said knock 4 knock - great !! basically needed both front wings bumper bonnet and complete drivers side repainted.. but worst of all one of my front borbets is now square .. so not good.. anyhows i took it to my mate who lovingly repaired the battered panels.. and shipped her off to bmw for pant - i know i know but they were the only people who could get it painted in time for e38.. in the mean time i bought a set of keskin off rob heath.. lovely fella .. nice rims but wanna polish them and get them colour coded.. also need to get one 7.5 4 stud borbet A not worried about kerbing as will be gettin polished.. anyhows got it bk the day before e38 only to find my bonnet release cable had snapped and wouldnt release .. so no drivin to e38.. GUTTED.................. IT DOESNT STOP THERE while fitting the new cable had meself a wee little elecy fire - luckily only behind the drivers side foot well so burned out my ignition loom and my alarm.. felt like lighting the whole thing anyhow after a few beers decided id have a go at rewiring her .. so after a bit of head scratching and some sore knees and back i got her working again and the alarm... hooray .. the end .. nah only joking .. once id got her running decided to try and fit the cable .. once done pulled it once and it snapped.. gutted again.. the nice peeps at euro parts decided that they would replace the cable but would take a day or 2 to get new one.. fitted it and it works loverly .. lucky i didnt drive to e38 though as my oil was v v low.. gotta sort that leak lol anyhow shes lookin good at the min need to get the keskin centres painted up same as car and get dishes polished then slam her a bit more.. will give her a clean next few days and post some fresh pics..

looking loverly mate .. ive had a nighmare few weeks.. had some old bag slam me in a lane .. totalled one of my borbets and complete side.. so had it all painted bought a set of keskin all ready for e 38 then my bonnet release cable snapped.. then while fitting new one had elec fire.. burned out the ignition loom and my alarm.. gutted.. but spent a few hrs seperating wires and re did it meself.. well chuffed.. got to get the keskin polished now then really deck it but think the 90 will have 2 go to get it right down.. not sure what to do.. decisions anyway will try and get some fresh pics of mine on my members gallery next few days .. aint had a lap top for a few weeks as my son smashed my screen.. not had the best of times lately :( still seeing a gorgeous c like urs cheers me up.. keep up the good work matey !!!

glad to hear the bumper went well.. and u finally got flat centres.. what u using on ur rims mate to polish them ? mimne need doing already.. and any thing i can put on to try and keep shiny lol .. it all helps.. andy
