gotta do somethin vin.. its totally knackered now.. any chance u can find out what model passatt.. ? mines a late corrado... the 2 little bits that lift the liner when on tilt have snapped off.. it jammed half way other day and no way was i leaving it open as the alarm goes barmy .. and no locks so not leaving it open.. so manually wound it .. then they popped out gutted..

ive looked through but none seem to cover my prob

my sunroof stopped working.. basically the rubber on one of the tilting things had worn away so made one and it works fine.. tilts slides .. however .. when sliding back its fine.. coming forward its slightly noisy and the pass side comes back higher .. so much so its scratched my new paint.. not happy.. is there any way to adjust this or has anyone had this problem before and can advice me on what to do? i was so pleased with fixing it .. now i got a scratched roof not pleased.. any help appreciated..

mike where abouts are u .. ? mine tilts but doesnt slide .. unless u pull roof liner back .. and lift a little hinge then it slides does my head in not that we get the weather at moment .. but need it fixed any ideas .. andy

ur luck is like mine at the min mate.. mines back from paint and wheels are at polishers ready for malvern.. just hopin it dries up and no numptys hit me or worse..i actually damage it myself gutted for u mate.. these idiots dont know what its like for ur car to be ur pride and joy most of them just look on cars as a - b.. hope it all works out fella...

i had similar prob with my 2l 16v ..does ur fuel pump get loud.. mine did and it was the fuel lifter pump in the tank.. it was starving my fuel injection pump.. so strugling and cutting out - 27 quid from gsf and a doddle to change she runs like a dream now.. just a thought..

good on u mate.. i used g3 cutting compound on mine to take the other gits paint off.. and made it look better unfortunately mine was beyond polishing.. glad to hear its all come good son.. breaks my heart when nice cars get bashed.. and the nuggets who do it drive off... what id do if i could get my hands on the runt who hit mine.. RANT OVER :D

could do with a manual for my 93 2l 16v as well..

im keen to know more mate keep me posted on ur findings.. was gonna do a 20vt or a vr6 swap.. but been thinkin of tampering with the 16v and maybe adding a turbo.. i love the old girl and dont wanna rip her apart if i can help it..
