At these wiring positions good for my 95/96 corrado vr6 abv just can't find the rev tachometer wire cheers Schrick red wire to ECU Live (Red/black - pin 22 IIRC) Schrick black wire to ground Schrick blue wire to ECU RPM signal wire (Green/black - pin 24 IIRC) Schrick white wire to VAG solenoid. The schrick controller wiring needs soldering direct to the ECU plug pins as it is intolerant of being tapped into the wires half way down the loom. And we're exactly do I need to join the wires didn't think it would matter were it was as long as correct wire Please help K

Are both the pads meeting the the disc with no corrosion on either face and was it that one giving low efficiency or the other showing to high or was it the rate of rise and fall that was causing the imbalance

Can't fit rad or fans in properly wrong slam panel help help !!!!!
malaki replied to malaki's topic in Engine Bay
They have stopped trading but have found that all that has been done is a non vr or early front slam panel has been fitted and need help to get around this problem of fans not fitting in the gap between the rad and the engine and securing the rad so it dosnt flap around -
I have a 95 raddo vr6 I had a front Ender a lil while ago and have had a new front end fitted just fitted schrick inlet manifold and found that the radiator and fans are not secured to slam panel and they are touching the manifold and realised that they have used a non vr6 front panel and the rad won't secure at the top and the fan on the left is rubbing the manifold I really don't wanna change the front panel is there any one that can help with how I might get around this without jeopardise the engine cheers from malc.

has any 1 got a 2.9 engine short or tall suitable for this thart i can get from them cheers
-
are all the other components ie the crank and the conrods and head the same between the 2.8 and the 2.9 is it only the bore and pistons that differ between the 2 engines cheers from malc
-
nice 1 has any 1 else got any info ar facts on this cheers from malc
-
perhaps i didnt make it as clear as it could be, i want to bore out to 3.0 or 3.1 as ive seen this done a few times in the quest for big power ! money isnt that much of an issue but ive been offered a 2.8 for peanuts and just wanted to know if there are any inherant differences between the blocks themselves ??? if not then it wont hurt for me to bore the 2.8 instead of shelling out for a 2.9 which is obviously harder to get hold of ? any info would be appreciated 8)

I have a 2.9 rado that I am restoring, I want to get hold of a second engine short or complete to bore out and rebuild before I remove the other one. Does any 1 know what the differences between these 2 engines? is it the same just different bore and pistons? can a 2.8 be bored to the same as a 2.9 could be? I just want to get it all sorted before the rotrex is fitted cheers.
