i have both the 6 branch and the decat pipe fitted with a full magnex system. I found the car a lot more responsive with these fitted and would highly recommend doing this, and the noise is gorgeous too. I dont know what sort of power gain is to be had with this mod but it is all beneficial

i have my sunroof out at the min for a full respray, how hard is it to change the metal roof to the moonroof. Would be very nice to do this

yes it WAS twilight violet when i bought it, it is now BMW blue. all smoothed with side mouldings removed washer jets removed, side repeaters removed, roof ariel removed and rear wiper smoothed off. 6 branch manifold decat and full magnex with a carbonio induction kit and coilovers. 17" keskin KT3's. The car is starting to take shape well but still a few more things to do lol.

bought about 3 months ago, i will get some updated pics up soon lol. It was totally standard when i bought it, but not anymore lol.

you have taken your side repeaters off too? what way does that work with the MOT?

i got into my corrado yesterday for the first time in a week and noticed a little puddle of water in the passenger footwell. I made sure windows were closed etc to rule anything stupid out. Can someone shed somelight on how this could happen? Thanks Jamie

well no, the central locking always worked off the key, but there were two sirens removed that were not working, fitted by previous owner. i will take back to fitter and see if there is anything he can do. hopefully he can haha

ok, removing the standard alarm would hardly have affected this? thanks for the help

Does anyone know if there are any camber plates available for a 95 vr6? they are so handy to have and look lovely in an engine bay. Thanks Jamie

is there anything else that could be the problem? or does it have to be the alarm? I took the door card off and it is definately moving the arm up that moves the door pin. it is very strange

My central locking is working but very strangely. When i use my key in the drivers door lock all the doors and boot lock and open as they should, but when i use my alarm remote the drivers door will not open or lock. It is a brand new alarm and it is baffling me. Can anyone throuw come light on this problem for me. Thanks Jamie

has anyone on here done the audi a3 door handle conversion on their corrado? I know there is a bit of body work involved eg welding and painting doors, but a full respray is happening in a few weeks so thats not an issue. if so where can i buy the kit? Thanks Jamie

Does anyone know if these wheels will fit over my brakes?
j16jrf replied to A5 VRX's topic in Drivetrain
when it comes to grinding calipers, where and how do you grind? is there a how to section on this? probably not lol -
have you any pics of where you removed the few mil from please?
-
has anyone had to modify their caliper carriers to fit wheels? the bit that sits out proud of the caliper? my wheels are touching this when fitted even with 5mm spacers, any larger spacers and the wheels would be outside the arch by about a foot lol. Just need to know if it is safe to remove a mil or two from it Thanks

have u any pics of the washer jets on your wiper arms?
-
i am getting my bonnet smoothed and need to know if anyone has done this before? If so where did you put your washer jets? Thanks in advance Jamie

i have had mine at 100mph (on private road) lol, and had no issue at all. They are very easy to fit and no spring clamps are required. Just take your old unit out and replace with new coilovers, two bolts at the bottom of the shock and one at the top then it slides out and you put the new coilover in. Will take you about half a day to do. Its not too hard at all
-
well its harder than standard obviously. I am used to driving modified cars and all my cars have had suspension mods on them. I would say that it is not overly hard you probably wouldnt notice much difference in hardness over the gmax suspension, it will be slightly harder but not too much. Yes i did fit them myself (with help from mates), is a very easy job to do

i fitted mine at the weekend, have to sya the ride isnt THAT bad but it is hard. just have to put spacers on the front wheels as the standard 15s tyres are rubbing on the adjustable platform. Overall for a cheap coilover they do exactly what they say on the tin. and they go LOW very low. i have mine set at about 50mm but had them wound right down and the cat was sitting on the ground nearly.
