I say Howdy :( At anyrate. Go get a kit from Kinetic. They have the best stuff and they get their tunes from C2...or Jeff, who is a buddy of mine. Their kit will be the most reliable IMO for the money spent. As for a rebuild, it only depends on what kind of power you want, the condition of the engine and your driving habbits. More then likely you should do topend work so you don't snap your old chains, plus a good FI cam and some tough springs will help with vavle float under harsh acceleration. If you are concerned about anything, it should be the tranny. You should be more open minded to other cars btw, anything can be fast, and everything has potential in the right hands. G/L

I have a G60 spare bumper U.S. spec I would let you have for a pretty cheap price actually, but shipping would kill you I'm sure....All U.S. spec bumpers have those sidemarker lights. If I am going way off topic please let me know, I feel confused lol. -Keith

Wheel no.1 MAM MT1 17x8 et 35 Wheel no.2 Keskin KT1 17x8.5 et 30 I'm making my final descicion today. I have it down to these two and can't decide, I would like some input or maybe some pictures of the MAM's on other Corrados, or a similar looking wheel to it. Thanks for your thoughts. It took me about a month to come to these two and I feel about equal for both. I need to be pushed one way or the other. -Keith

Not a U.S. thing, could be a Canadian thing, I think they use KPH....we use MPH so they would have made sure it said that because of the closed minded-ness. Austrailia? What other countries speak english as their main language that use KPH? It looks like it was filmed in the U.S. though lol. We had one that had the Corrado up on top of a mountain ledge kind of looking over the horizon.....that's all I can remember about that comercial.

The Jetta is a 12v with a gt30r. He doesnt have a lot of drive time, that's the only reason I took him so good. When he passed me I was full throttle, I really felt like I was going 20 under the speed limit at that point lol. As for the mount is was just a suction cup camera mount, nothing to special or exspensive.

This was done with two little digital picture cameras lol. My Canon powershot sd630 and my buddies Canon powershot a620.....to very small cameras.....I did however put a piece of tape over the mic and it took the sound down a lot. This makes me want to get a nice digital video camera so I don't have to use my point and shoot camera lol. -Keith

BigTartanJudge, they have to import these from Germany and they get airmailed to me in the U.S. atleast that's what the guy on the phone told me. There are only 2-4 dealers that offer Keskin here in the U.S. so it is kind of a rarity.

Well I came to the conclusion that 17x8.5 all around is the route I will take. The offset I am going to get is 30. From there if I have to modify the fenders I will. I will be placing my order tomorrow so hopefully in the next week they will be here, then I slap on some rubber and go from there :) The rims by them selves will cost me $1359, and add another $300 for rubber, so in total about $1659....I don't know how that converts to pounds.

Well the 25 is a great start. I think I can do the rest of the math in my head...I think I can lol, maybe I should do it all out on paper.

It doesn't help that a majority of the Corrado's were originally bought by females(atleast it was that way in the U.S.)...who in my opinion for the most part lack the concept or preventive maintence(not all just most,) hence why I believe many are in such bad running shape, plus the fact that they are past the 10year mark only makes newcomer opinions think this as such even more so then ever, thus giving Corrado's with a good clean service record a bad reputation for being unreliable. The only problem I have ever had with either of the two Corrado's I have owned has been a faulty heatercore in one. 8)

What is aircon??? Air conditioning? It's a standard option on U.S. spec cars if I am not mistaken. There also is a cold weather package, which is heated seates and such. I think it also runs extra plumbing to the airbox to help warm the intake air up faster for those cold mornings. Sunroofs were an option for sure here, although you could get it as a no-charge option to not have one, and it can be found on all years, although it is very very rare.

I think that one is kind of cool.

I've decided on the new wheel, now I need to decide on the size. I have only seen a small handful of pictures showing the Keskin Kt1's on Corrado's. Please post pictures so I can decide if the 17" is too big, or if the 16" staggard is going to be to wide. Plus if anything had to be done for better fitment. -Keith

My first thought...honestly.....Well the first one didn't run well and my buddy was there when it showed up. We took it for a drive, he kept asking for like 3 minutes, "What's wrong with it? What's wrong with it? What's wrong with it?" I finally snapped and yelled "I don't fucking know!" So yeah that was my first real thought of the car once I got it, and yeah as most can figure it's been the same thought for pretty much everything that goes wrong with them. I just can't understand how some things affect other things on these cars. It just doesn't add up lol....
