Thats a late style dash in the photo above. Early blanks wont fit it. Ive got a late style blank with a red led in it. If you can make use of it you can have it. call it a pound to cover p&p.
-
you should have taken mine at the time bud :) was sick of looking at it so got rid of the lot for about £25, bargain.

Have you posted this up on the VR6OC forum yet? Try there as it's a VR6 specific forum. The top and bottom rad hoses will fit from a golf too. http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum.php

Track day shots look great Fay! Making me want to buy another C already lol. Do you still need a set of fuel tank straps? p/m me if you do.
-
Nope! I had the mirrors   FAF
-
lol, didnt even think about peoples negative reactions towards this. if it was a good shell it wouldnt have been cut up. it looked tip top when it was together but it was hiding 2 accidents front and rear. after the car was stripped totally, took about an hour.
-
Guys it is sad I know. But literally every single part has been used on corrados all over the country. No part will go to waste if I can help it
-
I should have mentioned that the shell far from perfect. Looked good on the outside but it would only have been a matter of time before the rust came through. It wasn't fit for saving.
-
Check this out guys, my housemate filmed us cutting the shell up. I thought it was pretty cool to give the car a little send off rather than just forgetting about it. http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/video/video.php?v=420379552760&ref=mf

Yep the pulley has a woodruff key. I had a massive ordeal with mine so if you need any advice pm me bud I think you guys are talking about the pulley that's connected to the crank itself - ie the cambelt one on a 4 cyl... This is a VR and I think he means the aux belt pulley that you can see - not the chain one? what gave it away that we are looking at a vr here  . yeh bud im talking about the same thing, there is only one crank pulley in there which drives the aux belt. its done up way tighter than 100NM, and requires a woodruff key that should already be in the little slot on the back of the pulley if it hasnt been lost. if you can get it to a garage, ask to use there air tool to tighten it, air tools usually incorporate a clutch mechanism which allows them to act as an impact gun which in turn eliminates the need for a locking tool.
-
can you get an air tool on it? you wont need to lock it in position if so

you shouldnt require threadlock. did you have trouble getting it off when you rebuilt the block. vw originally torqued them up way way past 100NM, i tightened mine up to about 250NM with an air tool. also you remembering to put the woodruff key in the slot on the crank pulley before you tighten it up?
-
what about my golf lol
-
Cheers, its not anymore  8 x 15 front (195/45/15) 8.5 x 15 rear (195/45/15)

Oh yeah Chris, its not a £500 payout. Thats just the material cost of the rear bumper! ! ! sorry I didn't mean pay out I meant cash to spend on tidying the car up. I could have done with a bumper graze when I had my old rado.
-
lol yeah it's probably a long shot :D
-
That is shocking Matt! Atleast they have accepted liability quickly and a £500 pay out will be nice :) with regards to the hire car situation, have you not thought about a certain audi with a 3.2 quattro lump in it?? Just a thought :D
-
i dont think it will help. especially over time when the main pump gets weaker and weaker. to be honest though, ive never tested this so i can only give my opinion.
