  1. Hi. Starting to get my raddo g60 back on the road this week been reading loads of things concerning tunning i have a 65mm pully and chip which i got of a fella who had them running on his golf g60 and im changing the filter and already have a scorpian exhaust with decat pipe. Im going to probably put red-top injectors in the new head im having fitted as well. This is all being done by midlannd vw on monday :D Just been reading about the boost recirculation bypass mod. So would it be practical for me to do this as well if so what do i need to lay my hands on and how hard is it to do i've seen the dump valve kit's on ebay but im just unsure about them as i've not seen anyone else running this mod. I should also note im changing the plugs to the W5DPO G40 item at the same time. Any help or suggestions on what to do next would be appreciated. The chargers standard at the moment and just been serviced 4000miles ago Thanks
  2. Just a quick question Seen a head that i want it's been ported and polished and skimmed but the part number im not sure if will fit my car is a 91 g60 the new head part number is 037 103 373 a but the one on mine ends with a p. Can i get away with it or not Thanks
  3. Thanks for the advice chaps im getting midlands vw to fit new bearings on thursday (mk3 tdi ones) and get the crank bolt done as well.   4. First i'd like to say say hi to everyone so..... HI. :D Been into my aircooleds for quite a while but needed somthing warmer and more up to today traffic and roads. Ok i've just bought a h-plate g60 drove it 100 miles from cheshire no prob's on sunday then on tuesday its developed a woodpecker like rattle and was pinking when i stopped which is noticable between 2k-3k so if i've had to use it i have been very carful. Thing is im getting conflicting opinions so i need help i've been told that it's the bigend bearings and that i should be ok with just having the shells done as i've not give it any grief since this started happening but they can't do it for a week,so phoned another guy today who's said that it's 99% certain that a new cranks going to be needed too. i want to get this sorted a.s.a.p and i am going ge the crank pully bolt done at the same time. The engines got 160k and has had a top end and charger rebuild 2k ago and is standard. so any help here would be appreciated. Cheers :wink:
