don't know when it was fitted it was on when I bought it but it must have been a good few years ago. It may be the battery not sure, will I need to get a new one if it is or just use jump leads to charge the battery??

Hi I went to open my car last night with the remote, it did open it but not as quikly as usual, I got in the car and went to start it but it wouldn's start and after about 20 secs the alarm started going off so I think it has immobilised itself for some reason!! I had the manual out but i can't find any way to reset it none of the buttons on the fob do anythink to stop it so everytime i open the door the bloody alarm goes off. Does anyone know what may be causing this and how to stop it?? Cheers.

just went into the spar to get some beers left my keys in the car, came out...LOCKED!!!! sSome helpful folk came and tried to help me get it open through the sunroof, we had a big plastic pole to try and wedge the littie sticky-up bits of the lock that didn't work, tried the same with string and a coathanger.....all this just ended up beaking the drivers side sticky-up bit. Then we tried to slide the windows down with brute force!! lol safe to say that never worked!! We then tied a lassoo and tried to get it round the keys but to no avail, in the end we used the big pole to hook into one of my keyring things and pulled them out of the ignition then they fell onto the steering wheel then we used the coathanger to hook them out!!! What an absolute b*stard it was!!! Just thought I'd share it with you lovely people!!

Cheers for that, where about is the pllug on the back of the gearbox?? I can't see anything!!

Hi just bought my Corrado today but the speedo doesn't move 95% of the time and when it does move it's all over the place!!! Is there an easy fix for this that I can do myself or will I have to put it into the garage??
