cheers thats good advice, i will try that but also was wandering how to stop the pulleys from turning as i try to undo the bolts?

I don't suppose that anyone has the Official Factory Repair Manual for Corrados? if they have could they please scan the section on removing the pulleys and cam belt etc.
If not does anyone know how to stop the pullys from turning when i try to remove the allen key headed bolts? (the pulleys in front of the cam belt sprocket) cheers Phil (mailto:[email protected])

is there anything i should do to improve the proformance of my 1.8 16v while i've got the head off, that won't break the bank and send the insurance rocketing?
