first g60

hey $4600 dollars is like £2368 english pounds at the moment and in my book for a mint one that would be a bargain over here.. with that sort of mielage its rare and i cant see it being thrashed as you wouldnt get many bank robbers in it .... :D and even if it turned out to be a lemon you could strip it and sell the parts in mexico for ten times what you paid all the mods you are thinking of have been done to my car and it goes really well now good luck :multi:

hey ive just had a similar problem with my g60 and after lots of messing around with lots of things from lots of advice from lots of people that know lots of things about chuf all........... ive finnallllyyyy got to the problem source try the following items. 1. timing 2. bolts on the dizzy camshaft 3. small pipe going from fuel preshure reg to manifold 4. sensor pipe going from ecu to the manifold 5. breather pipe also next to above on the manifold which goes across the engine to a black plastic something 6. check the earth straps on the gearbox to the engine and also the earth strapson the water outlet on the right hand side of the head 7. if this doesnot work then light the exess fuel with a match on a dark night with plenty of friends and have a jolly dance round the fire. i changed all the above as my car was a bitch to start from cold and was running stupidly rich to the point it smelt like i had an open fuel contaner on my lap......... it now runs sweat and returning 32 to the gallon :D

just cut it off then it wont be bothering you lol :twisted: :crazyeyes:

burning it may sort the problem i burn everything!! failing that try the dizzy it may be furred up with it being sat so long

:? :? :? can anybody shed any light on this problem? when my g60 is stone cold and i go to start it.. on the first turn of the starter it momentaraly fires for about half a second and then just keeps turning over until after about 15 seconds it finnaly fires up but as if its running on 3... when it finally gets going it then sits running very lumpy for about 10 seconds...... if i press the throttle at all it gets worse untill after 60 seconds it then runs fine.... ive changed the plugs dizzy and arm but hardly made a difference :twisted: DO I NEED TO BURN THE CAR :twisted: ? please help :mad: :mad:

ive just purchased my first g60 and in fact my first supercharged car.. stage 4 jabbasport charger, pitstop developments stage 5 antilag chip 68mm pulley and a few other parts. i just need a better oilcooler apparently as its 124c if anybody can give me any pointers or advice it will be greatly liked lots :lol: :lol:

best to go for performance filter or standard air box?

i just purchased a g60 (my first supercharged car) my dash says my oil temp is between 110 and 124 on a run is this normal or do i need to burn the car? :mad: its running 68mm pulley can anybody recomend any oilcooler?

just looking at the reciepts i have for the work and upgrades... the chip was purchased from pitstop developments whoever they are? :? and is a psd stage 5 chip it has a full scorpion exhaust just done oil and filter plugs dizzy and arm.. runs a lot better now but ive noticed it runs like a bag of crap from stone cold and slight misfire for first couple of mins :mad: and then runs sweet whats that all about???? :( no engine issues at all calm down everybody pics will be added as soon as i figure how to do it. thanks everybody for the info so far

:shock: WELL FIRST I WILL TURN THE CAPS LOCK off.. the car seems quite genuine with plenty of abusing owners however there are a few reciepts for work caried out like rebuilt charger by jabba 2 years ago and hasnt done many miles since :roll: also 68mm pulley, stage 5 chip whatever that is, full coni ajustable suspention which i will add i am taking off as i want to make it back to standard. pretty grubby inside etc etc. the last owner has had a blanking plate put on the end of the charger and it makes a wooooshing noise :lol: is this safe????????

:roll: HI ALL IVE JUST PURCHASED MY FIRST G60 ON A 91 J PLATE WITH 99K MILES STAGE 4 JABBA SPORT CHARGER STAGE 5 CHIP SMALLER PULLEY ETC ETC.. IS THERE ANYTHING BASIC I NEED TO KNOW????????? :D :D :D ITS MY FIRST SUPERCHARGED CAR ALSO SO ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED
