Ah nice one mate. Am a member indeed, will check it out! Cheers :D

Got bad news a couple of weeks ago concerning the wheels which came on my Raddo. One had a serious crack and had to be scrapped! :( So I got on the hunt for some new rims and ended up buying some Porsche D90's (16" 7inch wide fronts and 8inch wide rears. 7s are et55 and 8s are et 52.3). As my Raddo is just the 1.8 16v and rocks the 4 stud setup, and the D90's being 5's, I need to buy some adaptors. Has anyone bought the ones available from Venom Motorsport? Any advice would be much appreciated!! Thanks Toph

Car goes to the bodyshop on Monday morning!! Finally!  And the rims are off to NuLuk for the refurb as well! Will get more pics up soon! 8)

Got the thumbs up from my dad's mate who's doing the respray and minor mod's, just have to finish a couple areas and then it's time to get it to the bodyhop! :D :D Should have it sitting ready for Monday, though got an uber busy weekend with other things! And while it's away the MIM's will be off to for a refurb! Have been shifting pics about in my photobucket and have noticed that it's delinked a lot of my pics! Will get that sorted asap! Coming soon: - new manifold - full magnex system - uprated lighting loom (just arrived) - coilovers
-
Just the arms and blades. Hope you get something sorted out.

I guess it doesn't matter. You should be able to order them up easy enough or get the off ebay. Or best way is prob to phone about the local scrap yards on the off chance that one is in, and hope the guy aint clued into their demand and gives them to ya for good money.

Must check the fuse aswell! I've bought Lupo GTI wipers but haven't fitted them as of yet (waiting till the car comes back from bodyshop). Far as I know it's straight forward to fit. Mine were on a Corrado before I got them off Blue_Joe on here. Look forward to getting them fitted as the originals are shocking!

Have to say I agree, but like it all its a personal opinion.

^^^as the man said! Look forward to seeing how it works out mate!

Very nice mate! Nice to see another red valver! Is making me more excited about getting mine back from the bodyshop! :D :D

Wonder if this is what's wrong with mine as well!? Spoiler works from the switch but not automatically when driving. It wasn't working right when I bought the car earlier in the year. Got another query... I was told that the newer models activated the spoilers at around 40-45mph and the older ones were at 75mph. Mine is a 90 model so in theory it should go up at 75mph. Can the sensors be changed over easily so mine goes up sooner??

^^^ Loving it mate, looks stunning! :D Mine on 15x7's and have also had my 16x7.5 Borbets on (but no pic of then :( ) Will be sitting better on them when back from the bodyshop!

Looks in good condition mate! But do agree with the guys, wouldn't spray them. A refurb for sures. Good luck with it and look forward to seeing how it all works out for ya! -
Yeah have to say I love the note from my valver when thrown down a gear or two and rev'd up to 4k and beyond. Had a VR Vento lined up but the Raddo came up at better money and my temptation gave in to owning a Corrado. Initially I was annoyed that I wasn't going to have that lush note which everyone adores but as I mentioned once it was opened up I was smiling, lol! Have a new manifold hopefully coming and a new system going on, so hopefully it will only get better.

Your telling me mate! As vwdeviant said it's like time team! Instead of digging through layers of dirt to find things, I'm going through layers of paint! But yeah would love to know if anyone knows the car and more about the reasoning to the mental artwork! Very tempted to send a couple of pic's to PVW and see what happens! :D Hell yeah! My dad's convinced that there's something on the other rear side of the car, but I'm not so sure! Yeah mate for sure, anytime! Will PM you my mobile number n you can drop me a text or sumit, and get that bumper off (fingers crossed)! The guy who was meant to be spraying the Raddo isn't back from his holidays till Monday, so am now unsure if I'll have it back in time to bring it over to Edition as it'll be cutting it very fine! :( But the Vento isn't in too bad a shape so I guess it aint too bad, but the fingers are firmly crossed! Didn't do too much to the Raddo last night as I had other work to sort out. Just got the ariel removed. And just like the rest of the car, it looks like it was never removed when being sprayed as there's quite a build up paint round it. Think the next main thing will be to get the wheels off for refurb. A mate has borrowed a couple of my steelies so once his car is MOT'd next week, I'll put the Raddo onto the steelies and the alloys off to NuLuk.

Ah I see, am very very tempted to get one for mine, and think I'll probably give it ago now! Cheers :)

Found the thread concerning the mk2 gti manifolds fitting the Corrado 16v's! :) Seriously mate!? Are you stilling running it? Was it badly ou?? A mate has one on his VR and seems to be ok. Suppose it could be just down to the old thing of you get what you pay for.

Get ya now mate, know what time team is all about, lol! I think Phil rocks and is piss funny, lol! @ mattnorgrove - Yeah you'd be surprised about how many of my mates have said that as well! Should just fire it all together again and drive it over to Edition as it stands. Guess it would qualify for the 'rat-look'! Sorry but found "Coming from the man who buys Tesco Value tyres" hilarious!!  Is more the thought of Tesco Value tyres and the fact people would buy them!! Ah mental!! Cheers for the comments so far guys, lol! Glad to be bringing something a bit different to the forum, lol!

Is a bit lost on me mate, but do fill me in with the lingo!! Was across the pond when at uni but thats turning into many moons ago and am back in the ways of the Northern Ireland lingo! Erm... yeah I kinda hope that there aren't anymore surprises lurking under the paint! But if something does happen I'll be sure to get more pics posted!!
-
Cheers mate! 8) Yeah thought the thread was going to drop off the page without an answer. :(

  Makes an even sweeter project then!! Good skills Sir!!

Now for the rear... Initially I had noticed a couple of stone chips where the paint underneath seemed like bad blotches of the flake used in the main colour. However as I worked on the panel this was revealed... Yeah is a bit different! Does anyone recognize it? Just curious, lol! There seems to be a good bit effort put into the piece!
-
Now for the more interesting part! Commence rubbing down! As I mentioned near the start, some of the paint was badly coated over the main colour. Well I now know what it was hiding, lol! The front drivers wing: It didn't take too long to get the matt paint to lift. This is what it revealed! Turns out that the pattern continues right over the bonnet and down the passenger wing. Each to their own! But it doesn't stop there...

Right finally got my latest batch of photo's downloaded from the camera, so here they are! Example of how the front arches turned out: Have to say am chuffed with how they came up!
