  1. thanks guys now sorted and up for sale, went out and bought a diesel
  2. lolol, lucky they didnt drag u out and start at u. thanks for the info ill try slaming the door a couple of times lolol, like i said the motor worked 30min before
  3. after drying the passenger footwell up, i tried my electric windows to check the window seals and let abit of air in........the passenger side window did not work (although an hour before it did) but now there is a clicking noise from what sounds like a relay module coming from the drivers side somewhere so the relays seam to be working. i tried to take the door pannel off to have a look but some kind of hidden screw or something stopped me by the speaker and i gave up bfore i started kicking something and throwing tools around......... lololol The drivers side window does work though..... Any ideas?
  4. help, just been on holiday and went to get in my car today for the first time in 11 days. the passenger footwell was full of water ghrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!! what could this be the heater matrix looks fine, the drain in the rain tray looks fine with no leaves but there was water around the door seal, can you get new door apature seals?
  5. does anyone know what the paint code is of aqua blue im getting the corrado painted
  6. can do after pics but forgot to take before pics sorry will post up soon
  7. well last week i cut huge holes out of the inner wings and strut towers and repaired them, as good as new, took 2 nights and each hole was about 260mmx150mm. it took 3 patches per side to repair properly but now u wouldnt be able to tell without a detailed look, Ther rado is alive and saved from the scrappy, woohooo
  8. its been confirmed http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/ ... 461339.ece thoughts with their families
  9. ok will get it to a vw specialist as soon as i get the alarm disconected as its activated and wont disable, old paranha alarms ghrrrrrrrrrrr
  10. hi guys i have a 1995 m reg corrado 2ltr 16v (9a), dont know much bout these engines unfortunately what could be the problem heard that it could be the isv (what is this and where) can you disconnect this and it run ok as dont fancy spending £100+ or the landa sensor, or ecu relay and which one is it, anything else, im rather lost at this junction
  11. im a welder sheet metal worker but would rather buy replacement panels before making the panels if u know ehat i mean, the car is a 1995 m reg 2ltr 16v with 130,000 miles on the clock and a front end smash, like i said my mk1 golf had less rust in the engine bay than this car, u must be able to buy inner wings though i know vw do but at a large cost of £400+ and euro car parts used to list them, so did gsf and would come to £300 for both sides just dont know where to turn,
  12. took the front drivers side wheel off today as i had a puncture and found loads of underseal missing under the arch around the strut housing so investigated, bad idea!!!!! i had a closer look and found that behind all the rust i could fit all my fingers through to the engine bay and this carried on 3/4 way around the strut housing needless to say that the car isnt getting driven anymore. the oposite side isnt as bad but is on its way out too. This has left me carless and im having to put my project car on the road alot sooner the mk1 golf 16v, the question is can you get repair panels or even replacement panels tyo fix the car or am i to throw £1600 down the drain and cry whilst ripping it to bits. the latter i do not want to do as i like to see collectable cars like this staying on the road. Any help please
