Could do. Why didn't I think of that???? The mk2 ones have a raised section around 25mm from the edge. Shouldn't be to tricky to do I suppose. Found some new ones on ebay.com $299!!

Hi. The panels in a mk2 are riveted in and then finished smooth. Mk3 sit in the window rubber(not good for security) as far as I know. Would buy a whole van for project if I could find one cheap enough

Hi all. I am looking for mk2/3 golf van parts i.e the metal panels that fit where the side windows are on a std 3 door golf and the small bulkhead which fits behind the seats. Will travel. Thanks

Sold Rado couple of months ago and bought an S3. Cars great and goes like stink. I do keep looking on ebay though just incase a cheap Rado turns up??

Think mine duz. Shredded cambelt couple of weeks ago and exhaust now seems to be blowing from every joint. This was after I'd treated it to new wheels and paint!!! Ah the joys of ownership :D -

Saw red c in Soham, Cambs friday. Black G60 on BBS's in Ely this mornin parked up and got big :wave: from black Lupo driver in Soham today.

Likin set no 5. Maybe I should lay off wheels for a bit after all she goes to bodyshop 1st June for paint. So that will be just 3 sets of wheels and paint in 4 weeks of ownership. Been told I've got no patience dunno where people get that idea? :shrug:

Not had a c for a while and bought one around two weeks ago. Nothing strange there. The thing is that tomorrow I should have fitted the third set of alloys to it during the two weeks I have owned it so far. Just wandered if this was normal behavior or I need to book myself in some where? :cuckoo: Please say there are others like me. Anyone?..........

She goes on Tuesday :( Seems to be goin to a good home in Diss,Norfolk.First person to look bought it,must of had same effect on them as it did me when I saw it for first time.After a caddy van or Golf gti (cheap)if anyone knows of one. Oh well got til tuesday to stare out window at it :puppydogeyes:

After days,no weeks of trying to keep her I have to finally admit defeat.The escape route I thought was there has been well and truly blocked so L666 DUB is now for sale. :( :( Never felt so gutted,would kick the cat if I had one.Would like her to go to a good home so please someone on here buy her.On Ebay @ mo will put in for sale section on here as soon as I can muster the strength too :cry:

Point taken about projects going on and on.Did a mk1 golf few years back spent min of 3k doing it then just lost interest when it got to the little bits and pieces left. Sat in garage 18mths then sold it for giveaway price.If you start have to be 100% commited or its just lost money.Went to a good home though,hopefully your 16v will do the same.Looking forward to new thread"Bringing back G60 from the brink" :) :)

:D Great or maybe not :? Cant believe your gonna sell it now.All that work for someone else to reap the rewards.Tried thermostat on G60?Cheap fix if thats all it is.
