  1. i got the turbocharger back on it's place today and the engine is running now. a little bit of smoke is coming out of the "exhaustside" of the tc, but i think it's the copper-paste.. we'll i'll see tonight if it's something else, something to worry about.. i might be going on my first ever track day. on sunday there is this happening from 12 to 18hrs. if i'm going to take part for that, there will be at least some pictures posted in here. nice weekend for everyone, be gentle to your vw's! ;)
  2. thank's a lot, i'm gonna check 'em out. they called me from the workshop and said that they'll send the turbocharger maybe today for me! JOY!!!! : )
  3. yep, kinda hybrid! : ) oh is there. i haven't yet gave a proper look at, because the car is new and i've had lots of work to do. so there should be a plugged waterline in the engineblock already waiting for me? that would be more than nice : ) i have to give it a look, if i can find it! thanks again : )
  4. first of all thanks for the fast response! the charger (KKK26) is now at a turbo-workshop and the midsection will be replaced with a part from porsche 944 (watercooled). the engine is a 1.8T 20V (AEB) is that the only way to take water? i mean can't i take it from the same connection where the water leaves from the engineblock to thermostat? ok, so it would be wise to make it go back to system via expansion tank? thank's a lot : )
  5. hey guys, could you give me some advices.. i'm gonna add a watercooling on my turbocharger, and i'm thinking that where would be the best place to take the hose into charger from and then take it back? should i take it to turbo from between the engine and the thermostat and then take it back to between the cooler and the engine? am i totally on wrong tracks here? every advice is appreciated a lot!
  6. anyone? i'd really appreciate some advices! :)
  7. i don't know either.. both would be nice. but one thing is for sure, your rado is reeeally a beauty (except those yellow front lights, they don't fit there at all imho)! ps. was there any pics from the leather interior, or am i just a wooden-eye?
  8. hey guys, could you give me some advices.. i'm gonna add a watercooled intermediate-part on my turbocharger, and i'm thinking that where would be the best place to take the waterhose into charger from and then take it back to system again?
