Replacement foot pedals wanted. Early Corrado?

where can i order the mk1 accelerator rubber which also fits the corrado one please? -
lambda sensor, or have you checked all the boost pipes. i had the same problem and found one had popped off at the intercooler. check the boost cycle for any loose pipes :)

I have fitted my momo millenium steering wheel and there is no horn mechanism! My first question is: Does the hoen mechanism come with the boss or the steering wheel? I got the wheel from a guy off eBay who says it comes with the boss, and i got that from awesome gti so cant imagine them sending half the kit. Secondly, does anyone have a picture of the mechanism, or a diagram of how the wheel is put together with the boss and horn so i know what part im missing, or if indeed im missing any part at all and ive just fit it incorrectly? Thanks in advance for any help on the matter Joe

New Rubbers . . . GSF . . . OEM . . . 50p . . . Sounds perfect! It always seems so obvious when the answer is on the screen. Thank you Joe -
Anyone know a supplier of aftermarket foot pedals that will DEFINITELY fit an early Corrado 16v? Mine are falling apart Nothing chavvy, but smart looking and safe to use in the wet. (Non of this metal crap i've seen on eBay) Cheers Joe

its not a common size, no, in fact the guys at camskill originally said the tyre didnt exist before i persuaded them to search!! they are going on some kerscher carmonas 9x16. bit of stretch i needed to get them on all round. came up trumps there though. managed to source 4x conti's for £50 each delivered. cant argue with that at all!

Anyone know the cheapest place to buy 4 of the above tyre? theres only 3 options on mytyres.co.uk , ranging from £73.70 - £93.10 a tyre! is there anywhere else i should try, or is this the best ill do...

thanks for your response. i have had the same response from ed38. do i mean metal handles? im sure i have seen corrados will a thinner metal style handle oppose to the black, bulky look. another suggestion is to have A6 handles grafted in. any ideas of the cost of such modification as i have seen a few like this cheers

this is a common and valid point made. if i had my performance car in a garage during the week, had a relatively short distance to travel to work, or was loaded, this would be fine. i suppose my only comment is that we work all week to buy/maintain/improve/insure/tax our vehicles, but when a 70 mile round trip to work is the harsh reality, a leash of some sort must be put on those expenditures. (no prices for guessing the main one) the 'point' depends on if you have the resources to drive the car how it was meant to be driven. i dont (spending approx £260 last month alone on juice) doing the boring run to work, a place i spend as much time getting to as possible anyway :)

andy 655 - u are lucky. 30 plus users are DEFINITELY in the minority g60 wise. i know 4 g60 owners i share a unit with and they are all in the sub 20 bracket normally!!! most g60 engine's can achieve 30+, i'm not questioning that. i suppose it depends on the variables (engine set-up, lead foot, etc etc) :D
-
i forgot to mention that anything above 30mpg really is some achievement. i think i was going 60-65 mph to achieve the above, and that was with the lambda disconnected! i would never normally use my mobile whilst driving but these kind of figures are not to be ignored! cheaper than an lpg conversion!

i used to drive the g60 below 30miles a day down the motorway and the above became something of a slow-paced hobby (geek!) here was my best: sadly this was shortly followed by some not so slow-paced driving and it ended up in the scrappies :(

i am fitting some kerscher karmonas (9x16 all round) to my gun-metal grey rado and think the 'bulky' looking black plastic standard door handles will look a little rubbish. as the wheels have a polished deep dish i believe some chrome handles would be in keeping with the overall look. ive searched the forum as well as e38 and have found no definite supplier of this part.... im sure there must be one out there. can anyone help?
