I will know when I give it a full sandpaper, including the exit trim I adapted.. if it does not brake at that moment... I think it will be there for ever anyway, I have tried to take it out by hand, and it looks consistent 8) 8) 8)

but mine will be round, not oval. And I like big big big exhausts.......... :D the one I used to have in my C was a 120mm one  the first time I saw it, I could only see a car attached to an exhaust

wow! first reply after almost 24hr  thank you for your comment. I am going to fit a 4" exit on each. tomorrow I will try and end the job and next week I will give full dedication to the exhaust soldering etc.

any comments are wellcome! and about the hole on the right.... I had been thinking about shaving it, but maybe one day I need to be towed.... who knows!
-
yes it is where I plugged it ... thanks. I only asked just in case :) I have the "wiring" (or the 3 or 4 wires  ) diagrams for k-jetronic. my wife works in volkswagen and has given me a copy of the vw repair manual :) I will have a look with her, but it seems not to be a quick job... if everything seems OK, we will change all wiring...

did the earth wire from head have to be plugged to the ignition coil???
-
still going mad with it. I have plugged some earth wires from head and bottom end to the "-" of the battery, and it has made no difference. Anyone?
-
last question for those with late style interior and aircon... does anyone know where are the aircon switches (max & min) plugged in?
-
where are the heater controls???
-
what problem is leading you to remove it?
-
where could I buy a couple of exhaust sleeves online? thanks!
-
or do some research and find some kind of electronic switch/relay which sends signal to a led when intensity/volt is lower than X (X should be found manually)

I would need to know what are the wires of the cluster connector. I am thinking about a reserve gas light :norty: and I need to know which wire is used to tell the gas needle how much is left in the tank. Thanks
