    I'd get a VR and port the head and fit some Schimmel cams tbh along with a remap. That should on a healthy engine see 220 brake or there abouts and drive really well. With some 288/312 brakes and a decent suspension set up you'll have a great all rounder.

     

    Chuck in a shorter final drive (3.68 i think) and LSD for more fun lol.

     

    Or go 16V Turbo. :)

     

    I've not driven a rado with 400 odd brake but even the 270 brake charged VR I drove felt at it's limits tbh. Kev knows his sh*t when it comes to this stuff.

    The dash is still down at gwerks [now onezerofour] on top of the office :lol:

    One day i'll pick it up and advertise it.. My current corrado is staying standard, so far i've even held off fitting coilovers!

    They're still in the car.. it came up for sale again last year. Originally tribetypes seats from his Aston inspired interior..

    As above guys, recently took these out of a mates car to upgrade the entire system for him to cdt items. These have had hardly any use at all. The cones are still stiff!!

     

    They'd fit in audioscape pods etc.

    The only bummer is one of the original vibe crossovers is lost so he replaced them with Boston acoustic crossovers (which are better btw).

     

    Pics (the tweeters are still mounted to his mirror backs in the pics but have now been removed)

    A lot of bargains appearing lately,..?.

     

    It would seem so. I think with the weather being sh*t and people being in winter mode they can no longer be bothered to deal with the corrado quirks.

     

    Good time to buy bud, get back in another so I can buy it off you when your done with it in a few years lol!

    Since having sold my 24V storm I've really not had much interest in cars, just bought a couple and drove em, no dirty hands!

     

    First I bought this on a whim, 54k at the time, fsh, individual paint and trim run out model 328i cabrio. On D2 coilys with a supersprint exhaust, M3 wheels and a few other trick bits. Honestly was an absolute minter, not a single mark on the car.

    Down sides; it was a convertible and an auto. Had it been a coupe it'd be here now lol.

     

    So I sold it and drove the Mrs' polo for a bit before buying this 325 off a mate again on a whim.

    Bloody nice car to drive, probably my most well rounded car to date! Nippy, comfortable, good looking, nice handling and good steering feedback which is a must for me. Don't get me wrong, the V8 in the Merc was to die for but it was a boat with a V8 at the end of the day.

     

    So, company car due within the next month or so and the 325 will be up for sale...

     

    Rado number 5? :)
