the door and lock still work and the alarm seems to be fine...they didn't get in, only burst a hole above the handle. I know of a couple of decent bodyshop guys. Otherwise I'll get a new door for it.

cheers easypops, yeah I live in a dodgy part of the city, touch wood nothing happened so far - need to go to the west end to get something like this to happen! Yeah I was going to stick some silicone into it, as I think gaffa tape might draw attention...I'm going to be away over the next few weeks (barca) so will go see a body shop guy to get it sorted. Got some other bits to sort out anyway and been meaning to get it done. hope you're enjoying your C mate!

evening all, just wanted to give you a heads up - keep your car secure... was in the botanic gardens in the west end of glasgow last night and walked back to my car and unlocked it but the doors didnt unlock...didnt think much of it. My girlfriend told me the handle was a bit sticky....didnt think much of it...only noticed tonight that some little F"CKER has tried to steal my car. Punched a hole above the passengers side handle with a screwdriver and tried to burst the lock....rather gutted but also angry...the lock still works, just a big hole above it that'll need repaired! Will post a picc tomorrow. Any thoughts to filling it to stop water getting in? Cheers chaps h

Just got back from a 1600 mile road trip to the homeland (holland) and saw 6 rados. 3 in Assen (where they have the TT), so I'm guessing the owners wont be on here....a green 8v (I think) looking a bit unloved with a fair ding in the door. Then another mint black one, don't know what flavour as I only saw the back. Then a dark blue on the A28 going into Groningen. Looking a bit dirty! However, I did see two today on the M6. First was a blue C about 3pm heading south near J15 (stoke-on-trent) then a few hours later at J32 - Green M reg was all I could see....also saw the usual green 16v one sitting at Cockermouth, Dumfries and Galloway this evening. Also, last sunday evening about 8pm, heading north on the M77 at the Fenwick junction - black or dark blue C. Exchanged flashes...but couldn't see anymore details. Anyone here? h

Briefly spotted an N reg Storm in Mystic Blue on Monday evening along the A712 near Newton Stewart. It was parked at the carpark at Murrays Monument, in Galloway beside the wild goat park. Not seen it before. Anyone on here?

yeah I watch it a lot and I've only ever seen one more and it was a quick flash as the coppers drove past it... I think the footage in general is older but good to see though!

Just watching road wars on sky3 about 21.20. White corrado was stopped. Couldn't see what sort. Was being used as a pool car - not stolen but not registered. Looked quite tidy apart from the alloys... Who got nicked?! Come on...own up!

Saturday afternoon, I saw a Red C - H*** BHS sitting parked up at a house just down from Kinross, beside Loch Leven. Was missing a back wheel though.... I had a look on Multimap and I think its parked up on the photo attached: Red_C.jpg[/attachment:2onjl5wa] Anyone here?

Sunday afternoon, about half 4/5, passed a dark blue C turning onto Drymen Road in Bearsden. Got a wave back - think the owner is on here. Didnt see the reg or type of C though. Been a while since I seen a spot when I'm in my c! Anyone?

Just had a green VR drive past me on Darnley Street at about 14.55 - XIW XXXX. Sure it used to belong to Andy who worked a Halfords and sold it on here. First time I'v seen it since he sold it. Anyone?

That lives on Dixon Avenue, southside. My mate lived on that street and its been there for a long time. I see it now and again also. Seen the same N*** DCK storm this morning with the female driver - needs a good wash! (the car that is....!)

Seen 2 today first on hyndland road...seen it before...female driver in a blue storm N*** DCK I think. Then 5 mins later a very tidy black vr parked on lawrie street...L*** KEH. Looked very tidy.

I didnt think you'd seen me until I flashed the lights behind you just going into the tunnel at Charing Cross...you passed me at the Glasgow Cathedral turn off, at the hospital. The missus commented on the colour of your C "is that a dark blue one?....niiiccceee!" ...and she also said "so thats what we look like from behind - a big fat ass!" Car looking great.... Tried to pull up beside you but had to turn off at Kingston as was staying at the missus' flat. Was down in Newcastle for the day and you were my only spot! Got a nice bug infested grille and windscreen now... h

Had a few lately... Petrol station - copper getting into his car - "that takes me back, used to have a scirocco, always liked them tho..." Another petrol station - "you dont see many of them anymore, looks in great shape mate....it's not for sale is it?!" Then the best one yesterday... On a dual carriageway in the pissing rain, a guy on a racing quad...!!.....pulled up beside me and pointed at my car and gave me the thumbs up! Well chuffed! :clap: h
