Just spotted on the M42 about a mile and a half from the NEC junction - dark blue Storm, N*** OUU? Presume your going to the Classic Motor Show. PS. I'm not driving :)

Two spots in two days! Purple (Ice violet?!) H-reg, maybe G60, turning off Sinfin Lane in Derby onto Kitchener Lane, about 12.30 yesterday afternoon. Red (very red!), didn't see reg or flavour, on J24 roundabout M1, on the A453 exit from the direction of the airport around 8am this morning.

Mine does a very similar thing - more of a whine than a whistle but only in reverse. Its always done it and I've never found out why! Sorry, not much helo I know!

Just got my car back from the garage (new fuel pump, filter, pipes and accumulator, suspension arm, wiper blades and one passed MOT :D ) and after being bereft of my beloved for just a week I was beside myself with excitement when I got it back!! Seriously, like a kid at Christmas! The best bit is when you put your hoof down and find yourself grinning like a mentalist :lol: Anyone else get like this?!

Saw a dark blue valver, G*** WXK, on the A50 from the services before the Donington juntion (1) to the M1/J24 roundabout - it turned down the A453 towards Nottingham. Young chap driving with a female companian in the passenger seat. I was in the Black Mk2 GTI in front of you on the A50 with the dangly exhaust! Managed to get this picture at the lights :D

This thread worries me, my C lew through the first MOT of my ownership last year and now its in again and I. Am. Bricking. It. Although its had some repairs done in the same garage today and when I went in to have a bit of chat with how it was going today, he said what a "solid car" it was so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. :lol:

Inky maybe?! Saw a black C, unsure of flavour, on the bypass at Ashby going towards Swadlincote - I flashed but I was in t'other halfs black Mk2 GTI (my C is in bits - boo!)

In need of a bit of a help please ladies and gents! My C has been leaking fuel and we've jacked it up today and found the source, however, need a bit of advice on identifying parts so I can get some replacements. I've attached a couple of photos to try and highlight what I mean! The circle shows where the source of the leak is - should there be any clips on this where the rubber joins the metal? And what is this pipe referred to as so I can get a replacement? Also, what IS that really rusted unit behind the pipe?! In this photo, is the really rusted pipe coming out of the fuel pump? Sorry for all the questions, still a bit of a newb at this mechanical business, would really appreciate any advice on what to replace and how! Thanks! :)

I keep seeing a K reg Blackberry (?), not sure what flavour on the A6 at Kegworth heading towards Loughborough. I flashed yesrterday and then realised I was in the Golf and not my C :lol: Still got a thumbs up!
