I know this has probably been covered but I've searched for an hour and can't find an answer. I've got a 93 C with electric sunroof, problem is it will tilt up but when I tilt it back down only the drivers side goes down. And it also doesn't slide back due to something preventing this on the passenger side. I can get it to tilt back down by sliding the moving part towards the rear of the car with a screwdriver. I haven't unbolted the sunroof mech yet as I need the car tomorrow for work. Any help would be great, Cheers in advance

Cheers guys for giving me something to look at, I'll give the sensor thing a try tomorrow and monitor it next week. Sod's law though it hasn't done it most of this week.

I'm really begining to fall in love with my new C, but I'm getting a bit worried when I drive down the motorway. Basically as I'm cruising at around 70-80mph I very intermittantly get a "miss" like the HT side of things has gone down for a split second. It doesnt hesitate or miss fire normally it just seems to happen at full operating temp and while traveling at motorway speeds. Has anyone else come across this or know what it could be before I start playing chuck a part at it? I'm just a bit worried that what ever is playing up slightly might suddenly stop working and leave me stranded at the side of the motorway, probably in the rain lol. Cheers in advance

Nope, mines had one fitted though and with a KR inlet cam it should be just how I want it :D

I must say I'm seriously naffed off with my later spec controls, the metal clips that hold the cable casings to the control panel have all come off which means I'm stuck with cold air blowing on my screen. I'm hoping you can buy them seperate from VW. I'll check ETKA tomorrow.

My valver has one touch open and close, but since its my first C I didn't know if they were all like that or not?

I bought a couple of sets of these for my girlfriends polo and for a mate of mine, They are spot on and for the price you really can't complain. The part where the wiper arm attatches to the blade is a bit bigger than the TT or lupo set up but if you can live with that then I'd say go for it.

Yeah I soon realised just how bad an aging set of headlamps and standard bulbs really are in a Corrado.

I wondered about this too but came to the same conclusion as Critical_mass. Did kind of wonder though when I first drove it back through the snow storm if my headlights were working after that ring went out when I switched them on.

I have problems with my 9A kangarooing slightly when cold, but after carrying out a fault code read with VAS5052 it was found that the ECU is not recognising when the TB is in Idle position, I've carried out a check on the micro switch and all seems to be fine so I'm assuming its the wiring to the ECU. Haven't got round to replacing the wire yet though as I dont have a Corrado wiring diagram. If anybody has one for the 9A and could possibly email me a copy I'd be very appreciative.

Hi guy's I'm new to the world of Corrado's and I must say I'm loving my little money pit. One thing thats annoying me is the temp gauge isn't working? Does anyone know which of the two senders on the side of the is the one for the temp gauge? And whats the best way to test if the gauge is actually working or if its a wiring fault? Cheers
