finally got around to taking off both door cards to re-glue the material that had peeled off at the top and swapped the inner door pull handle thingys for some shiny chrome ones while I was at it 8) used the biro trick to get the pins back through the cards which was a life saver !! also fitted my "corrado" logo'd seatbelt covers to the back seat belts - courtesy of jude Then back to blacked, wash, wax and polish, hoovered and shined interior, bit of tire dressing and gave it a whirl !! :D

found these 2 on "just Lambda" website and wondered if theres a big difference between them (apart from the price) ?! Bosch part number 0258003165 £83.95 Just Lambda part number 250-23023 £48.30 They're both on this page http://www.lambdasensor.com/main/bosch/ ... 0258003165 It's for my 1991 G60 (now 1.9, would that make a difference?)

can anyone tell me what difference would there be to the running of my G60 with the wire on the right (arrowed) being disconected ? She's been running a bit rich (petrol smell sometimes) would this duff plug be the cause ? I thought it may be because it was re-mapped for a no cat set up then transplanted into mine with a cat in place ?!
-
thanks Riley, what would the wire thats disconected do ? it must be very subtle for me not to have noticed anything !?
-
can anyone tell me what this is for ? i've noticed the wire pointed to has become disconected but 've not noticed anything change or go wrong with the car :confused4:

Well just had my new alarm fitted by Andy and wanted to add to the glowing feedback I found here that made my mind up to use him in the first place! Great guy, great service and basically very happy all round :D He really knows his way around a corrado, even fixed a couple of trim issues I had while he was at it !! highly recomended and thanks again andy if you read this  p.s. hope the karting went well.

oooh ooh me again !! you like the new wheels ? just coming back from a long stressful day at work and being extra careful of that bump just after the left turn that i grounded on a while ago doing just 65mph :( so thats me spotted just twice and both by you !! We are in the same town, it is only a matter of time before I spot you while I'm in my Corrado :) . I do see a few around the Maidenhead-Slough-Windsor axis of evil, we should meet up some day. Twice I've spotted you now, once on foot and then as a passenger in someone else's car. We were flowing in opposite directions, so I didn't get a chance to clock the new wheels. The car does look very shiny indeed, good work. That road has bumps the full length of it, I'd never do as much as 65mph on it, many many years ago, I lost a school chum in a motorbike RTA at that same spot. :([/quote:27o25xzk] Sorry to hear about your mate. That road is a real black spot for RTAs, I'm a paramedic working out of wexham park and we attend numerous fatal and near fatal accidents on that stretch. There's always flowers tied to a lamp post or laid somewhere on the verge.

fitted lupo wippers to the front and an aero strap-on type thingy to the back :norty: bring on the rain !! also took out the restrictor from the airbox, not sure about the louder noise (bit too badbwoy for me) and havn't noticed any real change in perfomance so might put it back in :confused4: fitted G60 brakes with green pads (still had the originals on from before the transplant :pale: ), calipers painted red and looking sweet. must get round to painting the rears soon. full oil and filter change and replaced the coolant pipe (with the sensors in) cos it was leaking. also gave it a damn good clean but 24hrs later its covered in bloody pollen again!
-
what route do you take ? i've spotted a red 'un a few times near the windsor relief road, always ignores me :(
-
could it just be the exhaust manifold blowing ? new gasket maybe ? mine made a sort of crackling/rasping sound only under load before replacing
-
next to the honda its a wart !!!! WTF !?!?
-
spotted a georgous nugget on the 308 heading towards windsor, didnt see if i got a reply :( eyes were fixed on the car :D
