tried AGAIN to sort out my G60 idle problem (lumpy as shite). So far I've replaced both water temp sensors, ISV, throttle body switches, plugs and cables, idle screw, timing sorted out, ECU vacuum hose !! now looking at wires and ECU :( :censored: :help: :brickwall:

have you run the engine with the hood up to check for leaks ? mine stank and i found a tiny leak where the pipe is clamped to the fuel rail. just had to cut some off and tighten it up.

What other symptoms should I look for ?

if the level is fine, where could the pressure be loosing ?

I've done a search but couldnt find the answer... A week ago after a 20 min motorway drive the oil warning light and intermittent buzzer came on. Checked the oil (forgot for a while and I know the my mod'ed G60 should be checked regularly) and it was just below the cross hatching.Topped the oil up. Yesterday the buzzer sounded once with no light, oil level was fine. today at the same point of the same drive home as the previous 2 times the oil light and buzzer came on. Again the oil level is top of the hatching and the coolant is clear ?! what go'on ? :confused4:

That's about 3 miles from my home - had to check mine hadn't gone out on a jolly in the middle of the night :norty: . It hadn't - I drive down Ascot high st at about 5pm yesterday - hence right colour, wrong time :epicfail: . We need another maidenhead/slough/ascot/bracknell type meet sometime, last one in taplow had a really good turn out for a little get together (about 10-15 cars I think). Whos in ?
